His books include 101 Way to Make Training Active (Pfeiffer, 1995), Active Learning (Allyn & Bacon, 1996), Active Training (2nd Ed.) (Pfeiffer, 1998). Silberman consulted for corporate, governmental, educational, and human service organizations worldwide. He was also a speaker at professional conferences.
I read this mostly at work at lunch-- it's okay, but not as interesting as I'd hoped. I've read numerous books on adult learning, and perhaps I'm at the end of this passion about the "theory" of adult learning...I still love training adults, though! I found the book stiff and not as engaging as I'd expect, given its title. (This could be timing, too, though!)
