I’m always excited to pick up a debut and discover a new author, so I was really hoping this one would work for me… but it just wasn’t my thing unfortunately 😭

The writing itself was immersive, and I could see the potential. I liked the ranch setting, the small town vibes, and some of the romantic moments were genuinely cute. (I loved the Princess Bride reference)

But I really struggled with Sadie as an FMC. I understood why she acted the way she did because she’s grieving, emotionally neglected, and honestly still very immature at only 18, but she spent so much of the book searching for validation through relationships that it became frustrating to read after a while. I kept wanting more of a self-growth/self-love arc for her instead of everything revolving around whether someone wanted her.
Also… if Sadie twisted or messing with the hem of her shirt one more timeI was going to lose it 😭

And the relationship drama started feeling really repetitive 😭 every five seconds it was “I shouldn’t want her” followed immediately by giving in anyway. The constant back-and-forth, miscommunication, random breakups, and emotional whiplash just got exhausting for me by the end. Wesley especially was such a red flag at times and I genuinely needed everyone in this book to make better decisions.

Honestly, I think part of my disappointment is that the one guy I actually ended up liking the most… she didn’t even end up with 😭 so by the time the final relationship happened, I just didn’t feel super emotionally invested in it anymore. The payoff just didn’t hit for me the way I wanted it to. I also think the book could’ve been a lot shorter. The chapters felt super long and it dragged a bit in the middle, which made it harder for me to stay invested emotionally.

Not a terrible read by any means, just one that didn’t emotionally click for me the way I hoped it would. I am interested in the next two characters story though so I'll probably continue the series. 🙂‍↕️

quotes I liked ↓

“It’s not just that she’s beautiful—because she is. But not in a poetic way. Just in a way that makes it harder to breathe. Harder to think.”

“She’s infuriatingly impossible to ignore.”

“She’ll be the end of me, and I’ll thank her for giving me the honor.”

“Kissing her feels like a prayer, lips sacred, her body the altar I’ll never stop kneeling to.

Finished Love Me Not, and honestly, I am still processing this emotional rollercoaster of a book.

Love Me Not follows nineteen-year-old Sadie, who is sent to a remote ranch to escape a scandal and ends up caught in a complicated web of feelings. The setting is absolutely stunning, and I loved the found family dynamic with the ranch crew. There is something so raw and authentic about the way the author captures the confusion of being young and desperately searching for a place to belong.

That said, I did struggle with the pacing and some of the character choices. Sadie is quite indecisive, which made it hard to fully buy into her connection with Wesley at times, and the love triangle felt a bit messy rather than compelling. While the writing is beautiful and the yearning is palpable, I found myself frustrated by the lack of resolution on some of the bigger plot points.

Still, when the story hits, it really hits. The chemistry between the leads is electric, and the moments where they finally let their guards down are genuinely sweet and memorable. It is a messy, angst-filled debut that captures the highs and lows of young love perfectly, even if it had me feeling a little conflicted throughout.

While it was a bumpy ride, I am so glad I got to experience this messy, beautiful story.

I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Love Me Not is the first book in the Wildflower Ranch series.

The story follows Sadie, who is sent to Wildflower Ranch after a scandal threatens to tarnish her father’s reputation. There, she is welcomed by Heath and his two sons. While the ranch is supposed to keep her out of trouble, trouble at Wildflower Ranch wears cowboy boots. That’s where she meets Wesley, Heath’s broody and grumpy son.

This is Elowen Greer’s debut novel, and I was so excited to read it! I loved following Sadie, Wesley, and all of the side characters throughout the story. I especially enjoyed Sadie’s new friendships with Lydia and Emmett. That being said, I did struggle a bit with the romance. Sadie is only 19, and I personally found it hard to connect with how quickly her feelings shifted between different male characters. Because of that, I also had a difficult time fully believing in Sadie and Wesley’s relationship.

Still, the writing was beautiful and immersive, and I truly felt transported to Wildflower Ranch the entire time ✨

Thank you again to Elowen Greer and Love Notes PR for the opportunity to be an ARC reader.

I want to start by saying I am honestly shocked that this was a debut novel bc the story and scenes flowed in a way that felt like it was coming from someone who has written multiple books.

And maybe we’re not supposed to have favorites, but Wesley is mine. Every time his “Sadie, baby” was on the page it sent me. I loved how broody he was in the first half and then getting to see his many layers unfold throughout the second half. He was melted butter in Sadie’s hands!!

As for the FMC, Sadie is a complex character who is not always going to make the choices you want her to. But she is young and has been alone for so much of her life - of course she just wants to be chosen and loved. And she deserves it! I’m so glad she found her safe haven with Wesley in the end.

I also really loved the Princess Bride tie in and how all of that connected, too. I’m not sure if the setting was based off a real place, but now I want to go have a vacation at Wildflower Ranch in Elk River bc it sounds like such an amazing place to escape to!

💕 ARC Review of Love Me Not by Elowen Greer 💕🤠

I absolutely devoured this book 🤍
This story is messy, raw, emotional, and so incredibly real. You already know I love a good cowboy romance, and this one completely stole my heart. What an amazing debut novel 👏

It has some of my favorite tropes: forced proximity, slow burn, and grumpy x sunshine - basically the perfect combination. But what I loved most is how authentic it felt. It really captures that coming-of-age chaos where nobody truly has life figured out yet… because honestly, who does at 18? 🤭

The found family elements were everything 🥹 Sadie and Lydia’s friendship was one of my favorite parts of the book, and don’t even get me started on the puppy because I’m weak for a cute dog in a romance 🐶😍

Thank you so much to @elowengreerauthor and the @lunaliterary.management for the opportunity to read this beautiful story early! And now it’s finally available for everyone ✨

Now I just need book two to be friends-to-lovers… pretty please 👀

This story follows Sadie who is sent away for the summer to work on a ranch after an incident involving one of her father’s clients. Sadie seems to have it all together on the outside, but you quickly learn that it’s a facade and she hurting and lonely.

I had a hard time with all the different tropes in the story- it felt a little much. I think the story had a lot of promise it missed the mark for me.

Thank you so much for the eARC!!

I have mixed feelings on this book. There were moments that I was totally on board and really enjoying it and then other moments where I was saying WTF out loud.

Sadie is forced to spend the summer at Wildflower Ranch by her father to prevent a potential scandal involving one of his clients. There she meets a slew of cowboys that make her feel more than she thought was possible.

What I liked:

I do think I would read the next one because I liked Greer’s writing and the other characters, but their ages and Sadie’s decisions kept me from loving this book.

Look, I teetered between a 4 star and 5 star rating when it came to this one - the edge to it razor thin. What tipped me over the edge? The realisitic, unrelenting, tangible feeling of wanting to be loved - wholly, fully, without question - that bled through every page. And then finding the person that can give that - in fumbling honesty and unrelenting yearning - it went from 4 to 5 stars immediately; zero hesitation.

She'll be the end of me, and I'll thank her for giving me the honor.

Sadie is that girl. The one glossed over. Used, controlled, seen as a burden. She's burned in ashes constantly, dying inside with every second of not being the one to be wanted.

But when Wesley wants her, when he's the one to look at her like she hung the moon? Yeah, that was an immediate selling point for me. His point-of-view chapters were my absolute favorites parts - even if they were, at times, riddled in the miscommunication trope. Which was fine for me, because I think miscommunication can add a layer to the yearning and angst you wouldn't have if everything was roses.

Every ounce of resolved slips away and I sink further in. If I'm going to be ruined, I might as well enjoy it. She's going to rip me apart, and I'll willing give her every f*cking piece.

Sadie and Wesley's love story is brutal, gutting, and actually really freaking sad. There's so many moments of will they/won't they, of what-if's, that my head was spinning and begging for them to just GET THERE. To get their happy ending and hold it like it's the only life raft to pull them out from their trauma and angst. I don't think I've been ride or die for two characters making it to that finish line in my freaking life, I was sweating waiting for another scene of them fumbling the beauty of their love.

But they didn't. THANK GOD, or Elowen would've had me even more feral in her DMs.

He is my sun, and I'm helplessly pulled into his gravity, burning and bound all at once.

That being said, their love story is BEAUTIFUL. And a realistic personification of young love, because you have to remember - SADIE IS NINETEEN. She's young, her mind is full of pure want and curiosity, and I think that was delivered wholly on every page. Wesley's a bit older, but even then he is young in love, he hasn't done this back and forth with fear of diving fully in to a summer fling. When you meet him you know immediately he's the growly, 'mine', all-in or not-at-all kind of MMC.

And everyone around them knows that. The side characters (the set up characters for the next books I'm sure) like Emmett, Landon, Lydia, Mia, are all characters that know them individually, but also together. When they brood, they know why. When Wesley goes grumpy, surly cowboy because he fudged up with Sadie again, they get it. So seeing them watch their love story unfold adds another layer to the whole story. It's the found family you want in a contemporary romance but done so well I almost loved that more in the end. Each character has a place for me in this story, and in my heart hereafter...except Tori, that girl has some GROVELING to do if she's coming back in the series.

All in all - 10/10 would experience that emotional rollercoaster again and still be insanely giddy about it. Thank you to Elowen Greer and the babes at Luna Lit! xx

Love Me Not is a messy, love triangle debut romance from Elowen Greer that I could see potential in, but I hate to say, ultimately didn’t work for me.

The story follows Sadie, whose father sends her away for the summer before college after prioritizing his clients over his own daughter. Greer does a good job early on establishing Sadie’s fractured home life and giving context for her emotional state and behavior.

She’s sent to a ranch for the summer, where she meets Wesley and a wider cast of male characters she quickly finds herself entangled with. There’s an immediate attraction in multiple directions, especially between Sadie and Wesley. What unfolds is a messy, emotionally tangled situation where connections form quickly and boundaries blur, particularly on Sadie’s side as she moves between different relationships and men.

While I understood the intent, Sadie searching for love in all the wrong places, I struggled with how that played out in execution. Her shifting attention between multiple characters made it difficult for me to believe in her eventual connection with Wesley, let alone feel it as a true endgame romance. I didn’t feel enough emotional grounding in Sadie’s development to fully buy into her feelings.

Wesley, on the other hand, is more convincingly developed. Greer does a good job establishing his baggage and internal conflict, and I believed his feelings for Sadie far more easily than I did hers for him.

Part of my disconnect may also come down to the characters’ ages, Sadie is 18 and Wesley is in his early 20s and I couldn’t help feeling this dynamic might have worked better if both characters were older or written with a bit more emotional maturity. As it stands, Sadie in particular felt quite immature, which made the depth of devotion harder for me to fully connect with.

Although it’s marketed as a love triangle, it didn’t fully read that way to me so much as a story of indecision and emotional messiness across multiple relationships. In romance, I tend to look for a clearer emotional anchor or sense of inevitability, and while I felt that from Wesley’s perspective, I didn’t get that same clarity from Sadie’s.

The ending also felt quite rushed, and I think more time spent developing those emotional shifts could have helped the relationships feel more earned.

That said, Greer’s writing is strong. She tells a compelling story, and the ranch setting and side characters are well established. While this book didn’t work for me, I do think it could work for readers who enjoy very messy, chaotic romance dynamics. I’d also be open to picking up the second book in the series if it continues, because I do think Greer is a good writer. This particular story just wasn’t the right fit for me.

🌟 thank you to Elowen Greer and Luna literary for this ARC and the opportunity to read and review.

I am sad to say I did not like "Love Me Not" by Elowen Greer. I may be in the minority about this, and I think lots of readers will enjoy it, but it was just not for me. Readers who looooooove drama will likely be addicted to this book. I think it was just too "new adult" (derogatory) for me (I am an old now). I was actively frustrated with most of the characters for about 85% of the book. I wanted to slap Sadie (FMC) so many times. Yes, she endured a horrible trauma at the beginning of the book. Yes, her dad is a real piece of work who deserves the worst life has to offer. Yes, her life got upended against her will... but, she's also not a very good or nice person! I am fine with imperfect characters, especially women who "do wrongs" or women who are full of mess, but to me, she was just a brat who rarely, if ever, felt like she was sorry for the hurt and suffering she caused (and all of this is *before* the love triangle comes into play). I was thinking, wow, she sure is an immature character... well, yeah, she's 18-19 during the book! Wesley (MMC) is honestly better off! As soon as Sadie shows up on his family's ranch, Wesley (and several other men who work there) are instantly taken with her. Sadie and Wesley are caught in each other's orbits on multiple occasions as she dates other guys, flirts with other guys to make him jealous and/or forget about him, etc. She thinks he hates her, but he's really just bad at communicating his feelings. Fine, whatever, I can accept being emotionally stunted to an extent, up to a point, but there's a lot of it going on here from all sides and from all characters. They are all way, way, way too immature for their own good. What bugged me was the constant "will they, won't they" without any chemistry behind the pairing. I was too busy being irritated with Sadie and Wesley that any and all pining between the two of them went right out the rolled-down truck window, never to be seen again. Sadie's struggling to find her place in life as a new "adult" and thinks she's going to find it in a cowboy, Wesley, Emmett, whoever. Apart from being a little emotionally stunted, I did like Wesley and his character development, though. The third act breakup was totally overblown and unnecessary, in my opinion. This book is also way too long and leaves a couple of things unresolved in the end. For a book to be almost 500 pages long and *not* wrap everything up? Eeeesh. Again, this might just be a "me" thing, but I wish I had liked this book more. I see a lot of potential here, but it just didn't work for me.

Thank you to Elowen Greer and Luna Literary for the complimentary ARC of this book. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated for this review.

Love Me Not was such an impressive debut novel, and I honestly can’t believe this was Elowen Greer’s first published book.

As the first book in the Wildflower Ranch series, it immediately pulled me into the ranch, the town, and the people who call it home. There was something about the atmosphere that made it easy to settle into the story and become invested in the characters.

At the center of the story is Sadie, who is sent to Wildflower Ranch after a scandal threatens her father’s reputation. I appreciated that she wasn’t a perfect character. In fact, there were moments where she made choices that frustrated me or weren’t necessarily the choices I wanted her to make. But that’s what made her feel real. She’s only nineteen, trying to figure out who she is while carrying the weight of expectations and mistakes. Her growth throughout the story felt authentic because of those flaws.

Then there’s Wesley.

The grumpy, broody rancher’s son who wants nothing to do with complications, yet somehow finds himself unable to stay away from Sadie. I am always a sucker for a good grumpy x sunshine dynamic, and these two delivered exactly what I was hoping for. Their chemistry built naturally, and I loved that the romance took its time developing instead of rushing from one moment to the next.

Beyond the romance, one of my favorite aspects of this book was the found family element. Heath and his family welcomed Sadie into their world, and those relationships added so much heart to the story. The ranch itself almost felt like a character, becoming a place of healing, growth, and belonging.

Between the forced proximity, slow-burn romance, small-town atmosphere, and found family themes, this book had so many elements that I love in contemporary romance.

I’m already excited to see where the Wildflower Ranch series goes next.

Love Me Not by Elowen Greer absolutely wrecked me in the best possible way. From the very first chapter, I felt so connected to Sadie and everything she was carrying beneath the surface. She comes from a life that looks perfect to everyone else, but underneath all the wealth and status is a girl who has spent her whole life craving love, acceptance, and a place where she truly belongs. Watching her slowly break down those walls throughout this story was emotional, beautiful, and honestly so relatable.

And Wesley… wow. That man completely stole my heart. He had this quiet intensity about him that made every scene between him and Sadie feel electric. The chemistry between them was impossible to ignore and the slow burn tension had me completely hooked. Every glance, every moment of jealousy, every bit of longing felt so real that I could physically feel the ache building between them. Their connection was messy and complicated in the best way, which made the payoff so worth it.
The Wildflower Ranch setting was also perfection. The small town atmosphere, the found family vibes, the emotional healing, and the forbidden cowboy romance all blended together so beautifully.

I loved how this story balanced heartbreak and hope. It was emotional without feeling overly dramatic, and the angst hit exactly the way I wanted it to. There were moments that genuinely hurt my heart and others that had me smiling so hard because Sadie was finally starting to realize her worth.

This book completely pulled me in and refused to let go. If you love emotional cowboy romances filled with yearning, forbidden tension, messy choices, and characters who fight hard for their happily ever after, you need this book on your TBR immediately. I already cannot wait for more from the Wildflower Ranch series. Five stars without hesitation.

I received this as an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is an emotional, addictive small-town ranch romance that blends forbidden attraction, personal growth, and found-family themes into a compelling summer read. While it follows some familiar romance tropes, Greer delivers enough heart, chemistry, and character development to keep the pages turning.

Sadie Becker is a protagonist who initially appears difficult to connect with. Raised in wealth and privilege, she seems to have everything anyone could want. However, as the story unfolds, you peels back the layers to reveal a young woman desperately searching for love, acceptance, and a sense of belonging. Beneath the glamorous exterior is someone carrying years of emotional neglect, making her journey surprisingly relatable and deeply moving.

The setting of Wildflower Ranch and the mountain town of Elk River is one of the novel’s greatest strengths. The ranch atmosphere feels immersive and comforting, providing the perfect backdrop for Sadie’s transformation. Watching her adapt to a completely different lifestyle, form genuine friendships, and discover her own strength was one of the most satisfying aspects of the story.

Of course, the romance is at the heart of the novel. The forbidden nature of the relationship creates plenty of tension, and the cowboy romance delivers exactly the kind of swoony moments readers expect from the genre. The chemistry is strong, and the emotional connection develops naturally as Sadie begins to trust both herself and the people around her. While some plot developments are predictable, the emotional investment in the characters keeps the story engaging throughout.

What stood out most was the theme of finding family in unexpected places. The ranch community offers Sadie something she’s never truly had before: people who care about her for who she is rather than what she represents. These relationships often felt just as important as the romance itself and added depth to the narrative.

My main criticism is that certain conflicts resolve a little too neatly, and a few secondary characters could have benefited from further development. There were moments where I wanted more complexity, particularly regarding Sadie’s family dynamics and some of the emotional fallout from earlier events. But having said that, it’s a heartfelt and entertaining romance that combines emotional healing, small-town charm, and plenty of cowboy appeal.

I really wanted Love Me Not to be a book I fell in love with, but unfortunately, it just did not fully work for me. The story had so many tropes I usually enjoy, including forbidden romance, found family, and cowboy romance, but overall it just missed the mark.

Sadie grows up with a wealthy father who works as a lawyer for some dangerous people. After finding herself in a bad situation at a party involving one of her father’s clients, she is sent away to work on a ranch for the summer. There, she meets a group of cowboys, and this is where the story started to lose me a bit. Sadie is clearly trying to figure out who she is, which I appreciated, but the constant jumping from one relationship to another gave me a little whiplash. I did, however, really enjoy the slow burn between Sadie and Wesley, and once their relationship finally developed, the story became much more engaging for me.

I also loved Lydia and Emmett and really hope something happens between them in future books. Lydia was such a genuine friend to Sadie and honestly felt like the only friendship in her life that was not fake. I also found myself wanting more of Landon, and it seems like he may be getting a story with Mia soon, or at least I hope so.

Overall, I gave this book 3 out of 5 stars. If you are looking for a cowboy romance to pick up this summer, this one may still be worth checking out.

Thank you to the author and Luna Literary for the opportunity to read an ARC of this book. I’m definitely looking forward to book two in the Wildflower Ranch series.

Love me not by Elowen Greer follows Sadie Becker, a girl who looks like she has the perfect life from the outside, wealth, status, and privilege. But behind closed doors she’s lonely, hurting, and desperate for something real. After a scandal threatens her father’s reputation, she’s sent away to work on Wildflower Ranch in the small mountain town of Elk River as punishment.

There she builds relationships with Heath, the owner of the ranch, his two sons Emmett and Wesley and some of the staff working on the ranch.
Sadie definitely makes questionable choices at times, but she’s also a kid. She’s young, hurt, reckless sometimes, and clearly trying to work out who she is and what she actually wants. Watching her slowly settle into ranch life, build friendships and start finding pieces of herself again was probably my favourite part of the book.
And Wesley Morrow…🔥. Broody cowboy, emotionally guarded, jealous as hell, but underneath all of that he cared deeply about Sadie. The yearning and tension between them carried so much of this book for me.
I also really liked Emmett(he was such a golden retriever) and the rest of the ranch crew.
Loved the found family side of the story, and enjoyed seeing Sadie get the love she deserved from the family unit ♥️
This definitely has that messy young love feeling to it. Emotional decisions, confusion, longing, heartbreak, growth, all wrapped up in this small town ranch setting with sexy cowboys!
I hope Landon and Mia are next!! 👀

This book perfectly captured that messy stage of being young, reckless, in love, and still trying to figure yourself out. It was emotional, frustrating at times, and beautifully imperfect. I really loved it.

The story follows Sadie, who’s sent to work on a ranch for the summer after a party incident and years of dealing with her emotionally negligent and absent father. Once there, she meets Emmett and Wesley, the ranch owner’s sons. She immediately clicks with Emmett and his sweet golden retriever energy, while Wesley seems determined to get under her skin from day one.

As the summer goes on, Sadie starts settling into ranch life, building friendships, and slowly finding pieces of herself she didn’t know were missing. Even knowing her time there is temporary, she falls in love in more ways than one: with the ranch, the lifestyle, herself, and of course, a boy.

What really stood out to me was how raw and realistic Sadie’s journey felt. She doesn’t always make good choices, but honestly, that’s what made her feel real. The Sadie at the end of the book is completely different from the girl we meet in the beginning, and I loved watching that growth unfold. It reminded me a lot of how chaotic and emotional your late teens and early twenties can be, and how much the people around you can shape who you become.

I really enjoyed this one, and the epilogue was so sweet. I’m excited to keep reading the series and see where the story goes next!

This book captured that messy, emotional stage of being young and trying to figure out who you are SO well. The bad decisions, the heartbreak, the confusion, the growing pains—it all felt very real and beautifully imperfect.
Sadie’s journey was honestly my favorite part of the story. She comes into the summer carrying so much hurt and frustration, and watching her slowly find comfort, friendship, confidence, and a sense of belonging at the ranch was incredibly emotional. She doesn’t always make the right choices, but that’s exactly what made her feel authentic.
And then there’s Wesley Morrow 😭🖤
That man completely stole the entire book for me. Broody, intense, protective, emotionally layered… literal perfection honestly. Every scene with him had tension dripping off the page, and once he entered the story I was fully locked in.
I also loved the ranch setting and the atmosphere throughout the book. It had that emotional small-town summer feeling where everything feels bigger and more intense because you know it can’t last forever.
✨ what to expect ✨
🤠 Ranch romance
☀️ Summer setting
🖤 Love triangle vibes
🔥 Angst + tension

This was messy, emotional, romantic, and completely addictive in the best way. Such an impressive debut and I already need the next book immediately 😭

i was really excited for this one but it didn't quite hit the mark for me

there were definitely aspects that i really enjoyed: i loved the setting (yes i'm a sucker for a ranch !!), i really liked how the ranch became a safe haven for a lot of people and how sadie had a safe space to figure herself out and i also enjoyed the writing!

at the same time i felt like i just couldn't connect to the story and at times the characters, at all

it was too fast paced for me - before i knew it sadie was off to the ranch and it became such a whirlwind of actions that i just couldn't follow what was happening with who so at times it felt like a standalone of actions got clustered into a storyline

sadie felt so lost and i could really tell while reading - she was all over the place and at times just lost me with her actions
i just couldn't keep up with the romantic relationships and it just felt so chaotic and it became a bit too messy for me

i did enjoy the slow burn between her and wesley though!

all in all i think this was more of a palate cleanser read for me and if you're all for messy relationships and love a fast paced story then this one could definitely work for you!

arc review

thank you to luna literary for the arc in exchange of my own honest thoughts and opinions!

This book took me on a JOURNEY! II was not expecting this story to be and play out the way it did but I absolutely loved it!

Sadie’s story is all over the place in the best way! Elowen Greer keeps you guessing about what’s going to happen next and who it’s going to involve. Every few chapters brought a new surprise/twist, and it kept me on my toes and fully engaged.

Some of Sadie’s decisions and the way a few characters handled things did irk me a bit. And the ending felt rushed. I genuinely thought we were heading into a second book because there was still so much unresolved near the end. It does all come together in a somewhat satisfying way, but I definitely wanted more. Whether that be in groveling, growth or just allowing readers to experience more of the resolution. That’s really my only critique.

I felt so many emotions reading this. I was rooting for one person, then switching to another, then back again… it was a lot, but in a way that made it such a compelling read. I could not put it down, read it within a day and don’t regret a single minute of it!

Elowen Greer has found a new fan in me!

It is actually 𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 to me that this is a debut novel.

This book was 𝗠𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗬 in the best possible way and I ate every second of it up. Sadie gets sent off to Wildflower Ranch after a scandal threatens her father’s reputation, and from there it’s just chaos, complicated feelings, bad decisions, drama, and emotional whiplash. She frustrated me at times, but underneath all of it you can see how badly she just wants to be loved and chosen.

“𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙩, 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤,”

But Wesley? Wesley completely stole this book for me. The second that man showed up, I did not care about anybody else. Quiet, moody, always acting like he doesn’t care while very obviously caring the most. 𝘚𝘞𝘖𝘖𝘕! Meanwhile, Sadie is over here making the most chaotic choices imaginable while I’m practically shaking the book telling her to 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗘𝗬𝗘𝗦. 𝘙𝘈𝘞𝘙!

“𝙇𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚.”

The ranch setting, the tension between everyone, the constant back and forth of not knowing what was going to happen next…this book was such a fun ride. I seriously cannot believe this was a debut.

"Love Me Not" had me teetering between a 3 and a 4-star review, but I'm going with a solid 4 because this is my first experience with Elowen Greer, and I’m impressed. She does an excellent job of keeping you on your toes, making you eager to find out what’s next. There was a moment when I considered putting the book down because I wasn't a fan of the direction it was taking, but I'm so glad I pushed through. The ending surprised me in the best way, and I really appreciated how everything wrapped up.

Sadie is a character who feels incredibly lost and hurt, and while I didn’t always agree with her choices, I get it—she’s young and still figuring things out. Wesley and Emmett also make some head-scratching decisions, but honestly, who doesn’t? They’re both fantastic characters . I absolutely love the theme of found family in this story, and I found myself connecting with all the characters, even Lane at times.

I'm genuinely excited to see more stories featuring these characters in the future. Huge thanks to Elowen Greer and Luna Literary for the chance to read this book in exchange for my honest thoughts!

Received an advance copy of this book for free; this is my honest review.

Love Me Not is about a young girl who is shipped off for the summer to work on a ranch because her dad is a complete jerk. When I say young, I mean like she’s barely 18. She’s also a virgin. Didn’t matter to me but they made a point to mention it a lot in the book. At one point she even says she’s wearing “virginal white” panties. And later on she talks about it being a social construct so I was like girl, pick a lane.

She was also drinking all the time which, I get because duh I was young once too. But this girl who was so “pure and innocent” totally changed when she got to that ranch. She’s crushing on two hot brothers and another hot rancher. And honestly, good for her. She deserves to have a little fun because again, her dad is a total jerk.

Anyway, kind of a slow burn, but there’s also a little spice in the beginning. You’ll understand what I mean when you read it. The book could have been a little shorter but overall it was a good read. I love all the side characters and look forward to the next book in the series.

Ahh I really struggle with how to rate this one.

Sadie, 19, is shipped off to Wildflower ranch when a scandal poses risk to her fathers reputation. And while she looks like the city girl who has it all together, she doesn't. She's lonely and has been long overlooked, seen as a burden by those who should love her. After landing at Wildflower ranch, she quickly develops an attraction to multiple of these fine cowboys. She is young, and seemingly looking for validation through relationships, which makes sense due to her home life. However, flitting between multiple men made it hard to focus on her and Wesley's relationship, and when they finally get together, it's a bit tough to believe that now she has this big connection and strong feelings for him. Wesley has baggage but is more emotionally mature and focused purely on Sadie. I liked his chapters quite a lot. The HEA for this couple is not easy; it's messy, frustrating, and sometimes just *sad*. I was so nervous toward the end that something else was going to happen and tear them apart!

Thank you so much to Luna Literary and the author for allowing me to read and review, all opinions are my own.

I could NOT keep up with Sadie!! I was scandalized with each page I turned but in a GOOD way. I had to go back to the tropes because at one point I thought this was gonna turn out to be a "why choose" but it's not. Definitely a love triangle...almost square?? lol Is that a thing? Sadie has been through ALOT a father who is completely indifferent dumps her off at a friends ranch to work the summer to avoid any public scandal... instead of making sure she is emotionally, mentally, and physically ok. He sucks. Sadie experiences a lot of firsts on the ranch. She also faces heartbreak and tough choices. But she makes it through thanks to a certain cowboy on the ranch. FIVE STAR READ!!!! There are some tough topics that are experienced in the book such as being drugged, sexual assault, alcoholism, abuse, and loss make sure to read trigger warnings to make sure this is a book for you.

If you are into.
slow burn
forbidden romance
forced proximity
grumpy x sunshine
he falls first
cowboys

this book is for YOU! Thank you Luna Literary and Elowen Greer for the ARC opportunity. These bookish thoughts are all my own!

This is a debut novel and its pretty darn good! Put Sleep Token in the books play list and mention them on page and you have my soul!

This book is a master class in angst it takes the rules for your standard cowboy romance novel and throws them out the window. Oh, you think it’s just going to be the MMC hooks up with the FMC oh no hold onto your hats!

This book had my stomach in knots. I was half cheering for the MMC and half cringing. Sadie will also make you shake your head with some of her life choices BUT at the end of the day she is only 18 and turns 19 in the book. NO ONE has their shit together at that age and it did kind of make me remember what it was like to be that age and have a smorgasbord of choices with no thought for the future!

There is everything in this book. Girl learning who she is, Life after loss, Rodeo, Multiple hot cowboys, not letting shitty friends affect you and finally finding where you belong in the world! This is s l o w burn so so slow, and you think oh dude you blew it but then in the last second it all turns out for a HEA

You can sign me up for a messy love triangle book ANY DAY. From the first page, I was completely drawn in to Elowen’s writing. Personally, it was so well done. Most people don’t like third act breaks but me? I DO. It’s realistic and raw and emotional; and Elowen delivers just that. Our FMC, Sadie is young and theres things that drive me nuts about her but it’s also the reality of being young and making those mistakes; took me back to myself at that age. Now our MMC, Wesley; yeah he was a smidge toxic at some times but he was also head over heels for Sadie. So I get it, and was it okay? No. But he owned his mistakes and that doesn’t happen often at their age. I also loved the found family—I’m really hoping for Emmetts book; would love to see his happily every after too! If you love a slow burn, messy love story; definitely check this one out!
Thanks Elowen Greer and Luna Literary for letting me read this ARC!

📖- Love Me Not by Elowen Greer
I’m so shocked this Elowen Greer’s debut novel girl you did the dang thing!
Wow I didn’t expect this book to go like it did Elowen Greer did a kick butt job at writing this story!
The twist and turns in this book had me eating up the book to see who or what would happen next. This book will also have you on an emotional rollercoaster through out the book. The drama in this book was so good.. I think we can all agree everyone wants to be loved without any doubt or question and that’s what you will find in this book are all the ways she does it smart no but when your trying to find love did you always do the right thing? I also think that has to do with how people always over look or treat her like a burden so she does things while finding love that doesn’t make sense to someone who has never been through that. Then comes Wesley and he believes she is his everything. You will want these two to get it together they have miscommunication between Sadie and Wesley however I think that’s what made it feel so much more realistic.

I enjoyed this small town romance read!!!
I didn't like Sadie's father and how he treated her in this book.
At first I didn't like Wesley and how he treated Sadie but then getting more into the book I started to like him. Loved The Wildflower Ranch and Heath and his sons Emmett and Wesley in this book.
I loved the romance between Sadie and Wesley when they got together and and was happy that they were able to work on the stuff between them. I loved Sadie's friendship with Emmett and Lydia throughout this book. I felt sad for Sadie and everything she went through in this book. I didn't like the romance between Lane and Sadie and also how he treated her too. And this was a crazy read too.
But I am glad that Wesley and Sadie got an happy ending together at the end of this book. I'd recommend this to fans of Elowen Greer, especially those who enjoy a small mountain town romance. Thanks to the author and Luna Literary Management for the ARC.

To be honest, this is one I had a hard time getting into in the beginning. Struggled to want to read and pick up. I think it had a lot to do with the maturity levels on the characters end, but they are young. So it can be expected. However, overtime I’d expect the maturity level to improve and I didn’t really see that improvement. Not until the very end of this book. This was very spicy, and forbidden which are two of my favorites. Unfortunately, the tension and connections didn’t really grasp until later in the book, which made it difficult for me to really love this one the way I wanted too. Even with that said, it was beautifully written, and I think with all the side characters, it is setting up a great series. I just felt that we didn’t get a settled relationship between The FMC and MMC early enough, which would have brought on a better connection possibly.
