Father King: Judgement Day

Rate this book
He wasn’t always a preacher.

Merciless men and savage beasts lurk in the darkness.

They made the mistake of coming for his flock…

Father King is being hunted. A warrior of the cloth, who watched over his flock with tender strength. A man who was like a second father to a homeless young orphan.

Shannon Dumas was raised right. A blood debt is sacred.

Real men will not back down from facing insurmountable evil. They will confront it from the New World to the Old.

Wicked men go hide in Africa.

The Dark Continent is the cry of the Fish Eagle, lions at dawn, or a mamba’s faint hiss. Sordid souls seek to disappear into the heart of darkness.

Shannon knew the score.

There would be no rewards, accolades, and near certain death. No promises were made and no one would fault him for staying out of it.

These are exactly the kinds of obligations men must honor.

This African tale was lost to the oceans of time.

Some men, you just don’t cross.

FATHER KING
is perfect for fans of Louis L’Amour, Larry McMurtry, Cormac McCarthy, and Elmer Kelton.

A.K. Vyas

A.K. Vyas gave early promise of being nothing special whatsoever.  He was born in the small New England village best known for the witch trials, then banished to Texas at a tender age. Being annoyingly well-read for a Texan and exceptionally stubborn as a child, the smart money predicted a brief but clumsy career as a rodeo clown, while others foresaw an early death.

To everyone’s intense disbelief, U.C. Berkeley made the mistake of admitting him, and he squeaked out a degree or two while doing silly, acrobatic, things in small planes. The Navy eventually decided it was safer for all parties involved (including the enemy) if he didn’t fly jets. Like most wayward souls he ended up on Wall Street, a lifestyle interrupted from time to time by an occasional date, unless of course it was NCAA football season. (You can take a boy out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the boy.)

To date, his young family has survived two Category 5 hurricanes, and an infatuation with TexMex cast iron skillet recipes.  Europe is currently home, and for unknown reasons, people on the street everywhere always ask him for directions. The Eagle Feather is his debut attempt at the ancient art of storytelling, and was written for his beautiful, perfect, athletic, and wonderful son.

Writing, has since become a cathartic hobby.

The Shannon Dumas trilogy was fabulous! So exciting, so uplifting. Now beginning the Texas trilogy. As a native Texan, am looking forward to reading about the settling of our great state. Thank you, Mr. Vyas!!! You are a fantastic author.

Three wonderful books!

I would reccomend this book to everyone. His research is accurate, his storyline was both spell binding and believable. I was amazed. I only wish these were in actual book form so I could pass this on to my family. My family would treasure these books. I just wish my mom would use my kindle to read this but she is 91 and anti computer. Her loss and my gain, again thank you for these books.

Great book

I really liked most of the story....maybe...you could think about him actually saving someone. I loved the way you brought the characters to life.

The series was well done with taking evil and sending it straight to hell. Well done on getting into the minds to think. Loved it
