For Love of Banjo!

After reading Unexpected Blessings, I fell in love with the way Sarah J. McNeal writes. I bought this book because it looked interesting and I wasn't disappointed. I just loved Banjo! A man who thought he wasn't good enough to ask the young woman he was in love with to marry him. Even though he had a past he was ashamed of, he was a man of his word along with compassion for his fellow man. Following along as he from Hazard, Wyoming to NYC to find his father, than to Europe to fight in the trenches of WW1 was a nail biter, not knowing if he would come back alive. Our heroine Maggie, the love of his life was sweet and very independent and was supportive of him for what he felt he needed to do. This book is very well written with wonderful secondary characters that I need to read more of. Romance and a few surprises along the way, kept this story moving right along. Mild sexual content.
