Brief text and color photos make this ideal for beginning a story time. When the text is "Splash!" we either lead the children in slapping their legs and saying "Splash!" or clapping their hands, saying "Splash" or everyone stands up and sits down, saying "Splash!".

Being actively involved in the story keeps attention focused up front and provides "wiggle break" energy release.
