An Elemental Curse

by A. H. Whitecross

Heir to the throne of Apaoras, Solea Aisua is both gifted and cursed. All her people know about the gift, but only her family knows the curse as it makes her existence a betrayal of their kingdom. Desperate to prove that her life is worthwhile, she makes a secret alliance with the heir to her enemy’s throne hoping that it will result in peace.

Years later, Solea and Amalia still have to hide their friendship, choosing to meet in the non-magical human realm to avoid discovery. It is there that Solea’s gift betrays her, casting a vision onto a human male who recognises something different in her.

Caught between love, her royal duty and trying to oversee positive changes for her people, Solea’s recklessness forces a group of vastly different individuals to band together. But if Solea is the only thing uniting them, what will happen when chaos descends on their world and she struggles to suppress the magic threatening to consume her?

‘Sului a Taramatai’ (The Tragedy of Taramatai) is an epic fantasy series that grows darker with its progression, comprised of elemental magic, found family and complex characters. Perfect for readers who want a new, high fantasy world with expansive lore to dive into.
