A very sweet story with a nice, young heroine and one of the sweetest heroes I have ever read about. He falls in love at first sight and proceeds to tell her, despite her engagement to a boy she has not seen in two years. All very innocent and a happy ending for all (except the ghastly want-to-be OM). Lovely dog, nice relatives and friends and sweet couple.

An unusual harlequin in that the hero falls in love with the heroine very close to the beginning and he is not the usual cynical woman hater. He is a nice young architect whose father is buying up the land in the area her aunt lives. The aunt does not want to sell out and the father vows to get her out one way or another. There is also an evil Om in the picture who wants the heroine for himself but she does not like him. She is engaged at the beginning of the story but that is soon over.

A sweet, dated romance set in Africa. The heroine travels out to see her fiance after 2 years apart. Does she end up with him, or with one of the 2 men she meets whilst staying with her aunt. Warning: dated colonial attitudes.
