Scorching on Ice #2

Rival Power Play

Rate this book
Sasha Vorontsovsky is the most infuriating athlete I’ve ever met on the ice—and the only person I’ve ever wanted off it.
We’re the rivalry every college hockey fan is obsessed with. The charming Siberian hockey star vs. the serious all-American small town college valedictorian- the media loves it. Two captains, two top draft picks, trading hits and goals all season while the cameras capture every glare.
They don’t capture what happens beyond the rink.
Secret meetups out of town. Conversations at 2 AM. His messages making me smile in the dark, saying things that would destroy us both if anyone heard.
The whole world is watching our rivalry. No one can know it’s a love story.
Rival Power Play is a spicy romance with rivals to lovers, forbidden love and a guaranteed HEA. Each book in the Scorching on Ice series is an interconnected standalone and can be read separately or in any order.

Review of advance copy

That was a great love story!! Well written, lots of steamy scenes! What a connection and very believable characters with great stories and feels honest!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I laughed, I cried, I felt the love and connection and their fear, joy, reluctance all of it!

Loved it!

Rival Power Play is the second book in the Scorching on Ice series, each can be read as a standalone. This is a forbidden, rivals to lovers story, and the only reason I dropped a star was that it's a little too much like another famous hockey story, but to be fair in the last six months there have been a lot like this. I did enjoy the story either way, it's not like it was an exact copy.
