Beyond The Fireworks By J Elaine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m honestly still decompressing after finishing Beyond the Fireworks by J. Elaine. The author has a way of writing about grief and emotional trauma that feels incredibly intimate—almost like she’s been reading my own journal. The story follows Celine as she navigates the quiet, messy aftermath of a relationship that was far more complicated and controlling than she initially realized. It’s a raw, lyrical look at the "moments that break us" and how they eventually transform into the light that guides us back to ourselves. I felt so protective of Celine; her vulnerability made her feel like a close friend rather than just a character. J. Elaine doesn't opt for a "quick fix" ending, which I really appreciated, because healing isn't linear. The only reason I’m giving this four stars instead of five is that I wanted just a little more closure on some of the secondary plot points, but the emotional core was spot on. If you’re a fan of character-driven women's fiction that isn't afraid to sit in the quiet, painful moments before the "fireworks" return, you definitely need to add this to your TBR.
10/10 Would recommend this book to all family and friends.
