. Born in a small town in the mountains totally isolated from the fast pace of the big cities and the people who live there. He lived a simple life raised by his parents with high moral standards and a good knowledge of right and wrong. This is the story of Ben Mitchell growing up in a small town and his love for a strange girl named Melody Edmonds. It just so happened he and Melody were born in the same hospital on the same day. She was very beautiful but some of the other kids didn't want anything to do with her because she was Indian. The Indian kids were looked down up on by some of the village people even though it was her relatives that settled the town. Her father ran the hardware store in town and was thought highly of. Ben never noticed she was any different from any of the other kids. When he looked at her he saw the brightest blue eyes that seemed to put him in a trance. They were adults when he finally found out what made Melody different from the rest of the kids.
If you are looking for an author with an English major I am not the one you are looking for. I occasionally misspell a word or leave out a punctuation mark. My facts are not always facts and I say that in my disclaimers. I often do not use proper English. However I am a story teller. I have always liked to make up stories so I just decided to write them so anyone who liked to read stories could enjoy them. I sat down Sunday after the release of my latest book on Amazon and started telling my daughter some of the story of Buck, Jill, witches, goddesses and werewolves. The whole time I was telling the story my wife and daughter were staring at me. When I finished my daughter asked, "How do you come up with all this stuff?” My granddaughter chimed in and asked me to tell another story. I don't know where these stories come from. They just come out. When I was a kid I didn't have any friends close by to play with so I made up my own games. I was always the hero cowboy. With my trusty broom handle between my legs I would run across the yard chasing the bad guys. It usually ended in a fight when I caught the bad guy. Sometime I would be a super hero and chase bad guys with a cape tied around my neck, (bath towel) and my bathing suit on. I made a crate into a space ship and tried to get my brother to pick me up in it and throw it to the moon. I always thought of him as the strongest man in the world. It would be no problem for him to sling that crate with me in it to the moon. My daughter wonders where I get these stories from. I Love to write. Just think about it if you will. You make up a character and before you know it you are that character. You could be traveling in new or strange lands. You could be saving the world or rescuing a damsel in distress. Who knows? The only limit is your mind. I love writing romance novels. My favorite ones are historical. England and Scotland have always fascinated me. I was born Scot-Irish and English so it is only natural I would be interested in those countries. I especially like reading the love stories of the aristocracy. I have always been able to lay in bed at night and dream up stories so I decided I would start writing some of them down. I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
