This should definitely be on the top of your summer tbr if you love a good rom com!! It was such a cute, funny, and SPICYYYY read that had me hooked from the beginning. I loved the dual pov of Frankie and Theo, so you really get all the yearning and swoony moments. I think if Frankie was a real person, I’d either want to be like her or be her friend lmao. Thank you to the author for the arc!!

3.5/5⭐️

Thank you to the author for this ARC. These are all of my honest thoughts and opinions.

Okay so I love the summer vibes, perfect setting, I love the friend group. I had fun with this one but I was super annoyed with Frankie majority of the time. She was very immature. I kept hoping she would change but 🙃
Theo? Love him. Love everything about him. Attentive, caring, and super sexy.

I love the he falls first trope but I just felt like it was rushed the entire time. So that didn’t work for me as much as I had hoped.

Still a fun rom com!

I debated 3.5 or 4 ⭐️ but ultimately decided on 4⭐️ because of the ending.

Vacation situation is a fun summer romance with a slight twist-this time, it's the girl who doesn't want a relationship. Theo and Frankie go on a week long vacation with friends. Theo, to get away from work and let loose, and Frankie to forget about her financial situation. Frankie wants a no strings affair but Theo is a relationship only kind of guy. Theo is a big teddy bear and Frankie hasn't had a lot of affection in her life. At times, Frankie's abrasive behavior threw me off with how easily she deflects her attention from others when she is scared or doesn't get her way. There is plenty of spice (beware of the strawberries) so make sure you're okay with that before you read this- their physical relationship is a main focus in the book. Overall, I enjoyed this book. It is a great beach/pool read.

What a writing duo, Alex and Jenny of Jenny Alexandra, have brought it with Vacation Situation. After reading Santa Cutie, I knew that anything from these authors would be worth reading. Now that we are into summer, Vacation Situation is the ideal read. And a He Falls First trope being at the forefront did it for me!

Theo is the epitome of the He Falls First trope because he truly wears his feelings on his sleeve. All thoughts and emotions are shown through the story. He has this dorkiness to him that I thought was quite endearing. And so well matched for Frankie, who is a take-charge, care-free type of woman. I loved that Theo loves. He’s the type who meets the woman and immediately imagines the wedding.

The banter was fun. The romance was sweet, and I loved the spiciness.

Thank you to Author Jenny Alexandra for the gifted e-copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I will never look at a chocolate covered strawberry the same again 🫣🥵

I was fortunate enough to receive Vacation Situation by @jennyalexandra as an ARC, however I did end up downloading it on KU and reading it there to also support the authors 🫶🏻

This book was the perfect summer romance, with picturesque small beach town vibes, a promiscuous FMC, a scorned MMC who swears he’s totally fine with just a summer fling (even though he’s a long term relationship kinda guy) and a whole lot of spice, this book had me both kicking my feel like a school girl and blushing like a virgin 🥵😏

I enjoyed Frankie’s brashness and she made me laugh. There was a (somewhat) hidden softness there, that made her more real and allows one to see through that tough exterior.

Theo seems like the perfect man. ‘Nuff said?

Bee, although a smaller part is absolutely my favourite side character, I hope we get to see more of her as the series progresses.

This is an easy book to breeze through, it’s a fast fun read that can easily come along in your beach bag.

I love the dedication and playlist at the beginning of this story.

We meet Frankie first. She is a little wild, a lot sweet, and I immediately loved the friendship she shares with Sasha. I adored Frankie’s blunt personality, carefree attitude, and the fact that she says exactly what she is thinking. One lost job, one friend in need, and suddenly she is headed on a bougie beach trip somewhere along the California coast.

Theo is a workaholic who ends up on the same summer getaway thanks to his best friend. Even while on vacation, he struggles to disconnect from work. He is thoughtful, dependable, and quickly became my favorite character.

The author changes some of the iconic California city names, but if you are familiar with the state, you can easily recognize the locations that inspired the setting.

The chemistry between Frankie and Theo is immediate. Even though they are adults, the butterflies, awkward moments, and attraction feel like young love all over again. Their relationship is full of tension, humor, and plenty of steamy moments. I also enjoyed Max and Sasha. Even as supporting characters, they brought a lot of personality to the story.

As the relationship develops, I really enjoyed the role reversal with Theo falling first while Frankie is the one who hesitates. Theo completely won me over. He is kind, patient, and easy to root for. Unfortunately, Frankie never developed the same depth for me. She had plenty of secrets and emotional baggage, but I never felt like I truly got to know her beyond the chaos.

The banter is one of the strongest parts of this book. It is witty, funny, and kept me turning the pages. There is also a lot happening beneath the surface. The characters are all dealing with fears, past experiences, and personal struggles. I was hoping for more focus on the romance itself because so much of the story centered on internal conflicts.

The ending came together nicely, and I enjoyed it much more than parts of the middle of the book. The coastal setting, beach atmosphere, and summer adventure were wonderful, but this was not the carefree beach romance I expected. It has much more emotional depth than the cover suggests. I also enjoyed the tech billionaire element and absolutely loved Theo’s golden retriever personality.

Frankie is definitely a wildcard. I can see many readers loving her personality, and I did at first. As the story continued, though, some of her choices became repetitive, making it harder for me to connect with her. The romance is definitely steamy with several memorable moments, but I never became fully invested in the main couple.

The writing itself is fantastic. The dialogue feels natural, the banter is funny, and the setting is perfect for summer. I especially loved the hotel owner, who ended up being one of my favorite side characters. The story includes friends to lovers, forced proximity, a summer romance, and plenty of beach town charm.

Overall, I loved the California beach setting, Theo’s sweet personality, and the humor throughout the story. In the end, though, I found myself caring more about the supporting characters than the main romance. It was an enjoyable summer read.

I received this book as an arc form the author and I am voluntarily leaving an a honest review.

4.75 stars, I dont know how make partial stars here..

I honestly thought I had set this book up for failure. I'm a mood reader, and I had just finished another romance. Normally I need a completely different genre as a palate cleanser before jumping into another one.

I was completely wrong.

When I read, books play like movies in my head. If my mind starts wandering, the book loses me. This one didn't. I read it in a day. After I finished, I looked up the authors and found out they're both screenwriters... at least according to Google. Suddenly the pacing and dialogue made complete sense because this book really did play like a rom-com in my head.

What I liked most wasn't even the romance. It was the characters.

Frankie felt like someone you could actually know. She wasn't looking for someone to complete her. She was focused on building her own life, and I liked that. At the same time, there were definitely moments where I wanted to shake her and tell her to put on her big girl pants. Theo was just a genuinely nice guy. He has this hero mentality where he naturally wants to help people, and I liked that.

I also really liked the supporting characters. Sasha is the definition of a ride-or-die friend, Max was great, and Bee quietly became one of my favorite side characters. Every time she showed up, I pictured the Michael Jackson popcorn meme just sitting back and watching everything unfold.
And yes... he falls first. I'll never get tired of that trope.

My only critique is completely based on my own preference. I liked that the spice fit naturally into the story and helped move the relationship forward. I just wish there had been a little more variety. Give me one detailed scene, then let the next one fade to black. I know a lot of readers love books that fully lean into the spice. It just isn't my thing.

Overall, this book completely exceeded my expectations. It felt real, the characters were easy to root for, and I found myself wanting to keep reading. For me, finishing a book in one sitting is one of the biggest compliments I can give, and this one earned it.

The ultimate spicy, lighthearted escape!

I had so much fun reading Vacation Situation. I absolutely adored the main characters, Frankie and Theo. They are written so well—so likable, quirky, and relatable that I found myself rooting for them the entire time. Frankie is a hot mess with a lot of issues but she's also brazen, free, and inherently good. Theo is the ultimate book boyfriend and I he was the perfect "opposites attract" counterpoint for Frankie. They serve classic black cat x golden retriever energies, and I loved them both equally. I loved the dual POV and would love to hear this as an audiobook!

The story itself is packed with the perfect blend of fun, spice, drama, and lighthearted moments. It provided the absolute perfect escape from reality. I was already thoroughly enjoying the ride, but then I started picking up on the references to Carmel and Monterey Bay. Since that is my hometown, this book immediately felt like home to me, which made the reading experience even more special.

Jenny Alexandra gives us the perfect setup: a workaholic relationship-addict and a no-strings-attached makeup artist who agree to a one-week getaway with three strict rules: stay sexy friends, no feelings, and no expectations. Watching their rules instantly crumble under the weight of forced proximity and incredible tension was such a blast. From a pirate-ship dance floor to fogged-up car windows, this book delivers on every front. If you are looking for a spicy, he-falls-first summer rom-com that will completely sweep you away, this is the one you need to add to your TBR immediately.

Review of advanced copy received by author!

What a fun, addictive escape that delivered exactly what I was looking for: sizzling chemistry, emotional tension, and a romance that kept me turning the pages. From the very beginning, the vacation setting creates the perfect backdrop for two people to let their guards down, making every interaction feel a little more intense.

Beneath the romance, I really appreciated the underlying themes of learning to live in the moment, stepping outside of your comfort zone, and realizing that sometimes the life you've carefully planned isn't the one that truly makes you happy. Watching the characters confront their fears, expectations, and emotional baggage added depth to what could have simply been a light vacation fling.

The chemistry between the main characters is undeniable, and the spice definitely delivers. If you're looking for a steamy romance, this one won't disappoint. That said, the reason this lands at 4 stars instead of 5 for me is because the spice occasionally overshadowed the emotional development and overall story. There were so many intimate scenes that I found myself wishing for a little more focus on the characters' relationship outside the bedroom and more time spent building their emotional connection.

Overall, Vacation Situation is an entertaining, steamy romance with heartfelt themes, plenty of tension, and characters worth rooting for. If you enjoy vacation romances with high heat, emotional growth, and undeniable chemistry, this is definitely one to add to your TBR!!

🌶️ 3.5
This book is the perfect summer romance read!! It absolutely had me in a chokehold.
You have a handsome, loving, rich MMC, Theo, and Frankie, who strictly draws the line at relationships because she’ve been burned in the past and doesn't feel worthy. It starts as a "one-time fling vacation romance," but we all know that when the chemistry is this good, it never ends after just one night.

Let me tell you: I smiled, I cried, and I laughed. The banter and chemistry between Theo and Frankie is off the charts, and I deeply empathized with the way Frankie grows throughout the book. And let’s not forget about our golden retriever side character, Max! Ugh, who doesn't love an MMC's best friend who literally loves dogs?

Also, his nickname for her? I melted inside. It was pure sweetness. The plot twist was so entertaining, and I absolutely adored the ending.

I really appreciated how this book reminds you to live in the moment. It shows that being a workaholic won't bring you happiness in the end, especially if you don't have someone special to share your life with. I also loved watching all the characters face their fears, desires, and needs. It’s definitely a book where you can find pieces of yourself to relate to.

Thank you to Jenny Alexandra for providing this Advanced Reader Copy!

💭: I love a good summer read. One that’s quick, light, funny, and makes you want to take a vacation. And that is exactly what Jenny Alexandra gave us.

Maybe I’m just a sucker for “falling fast”—I mean, I’ve been married to my husband for 13 years after getting engaged just six months after we met. I don’t just believe in it, I’m living it. And sometimes everything you’ve done up until the moment you meet the one is exactly what wasn’t right.

Theo and Frankie are spicy, have incredible chemistry, are genuinely funny, and are about as opposite as they come. And like the last book I read and reviewed (remember, what I’m about to say is a compliment), I found myself frustrated with our FMC’s self-sabotaging. I was begging her to let those walls down and rooting for Theo through and through.

Jenny Alexandra brought the fun, brought the laughs, painted a gorgeous setting, and brought this book full circle in a way only the best writers can. By the end, I was rooting for Frankie too. I don’t know if I’ll ever look at a chocolate-covered strawberry the same way again, but I’m a better woman because of it. 🔥

I’m such a sucker for interesting side characters, and Bee Evermore was quite the woman. I’d happily attend that beach version of the Met Gala, and I may just start wearing kaftans and stacks of bangle bracelets.

If you’re looking for an easy summer read that’s fast-paced, keeps you laughing, and has you falling in love right alongside the characters, add this one to your TBR. You’ll fly through it!

4.5 ⭐️🥹

Oh how I admired this whole book. It was fun, easy, unputdownable, exciting, hilarious and oh so sweet and tender 🥰

First time read for this author and the first book to kick off my July TBR.

You can guarantee I will be reading EVERYTHING that Jenny Alexandra writes and I NEED the book trophy on my shelf like no tomorrow 🏆

If it wasn’t for work I would have easily devoured this book in one sitting, but I’m glad that I was not able to - because it has meant that I have had the luxury of this book for the last 5 days 👌😍

This book is everything you could want in a cutesie summer romance 🌺☀️💕

We have Frankie and Theo - our FMC & MMC

They meet through a mutual-friends-summer-trip, but there’s just one problem…they are complete and utter opposites…

Frankie, our ✨sweet girl✨, unapologetically boisterous, loud, fierce, care and oh so commitment free and sweating herself off relationships and men for the forceable 🫣

Theo: smart, grounded, work and entrepreneurial-focussed. Loyal to a fault and the greenest flag of all the green flags 💚
Our Theo wears his heart on his sleeve. He falls quick, hard and is so generous it hurts.

You can imagine the fun and excitement this book brings when you have Frankie and Theo fighting their own urges to respect each others boundaries and rules 😏

This book has sprinkles of spice, the best nickname for our Frankie EVER, quality humour and stunning character development 🤩

So….

Long story short…

READ THIS BOOK 🙂‍↔️

I will recommend it if you're looking for a light reading that will help you forget about real life or if you wish to have a pleasant moment during your vacation. I laughed a few times; however it’s not a story that will mark me. I just wanted to warn you that there is a lot of cultural references in the novel. They’re more actual than the ones in Gilmore Girls, but I prefer to mention it in case some readers don’t appreciate it. In my case, it's one of the reasons why I liked the book.
If I have to select one favorite character, I’ll choose Theo. I could relate to him more and it was interesting to see his evolution as he tries to find himself outside a relationship, although things are getting really spicy between him and Frankie. I’m in the same circumstances as him. I’m attempting to forget somebody, and many people become addicted to working in that situation. I think it helped to make that character realistic.
Frankie brings the fun, but she also gets on my nerves sometimes. As an introvert, bubbly characters annoyed me, maybe because I wish I was more like them. The further you progress in the book, the more you acknowledge that she’s more complex you imagined initially. You might find out why she doesn’t do a relationship. At the same time, she’s on vacation, it’s normal that she only wants to have fun and spend time with her friends. I’m crossing my fingers that they will have their stories. Since it’s told Book 1, I feel that it’s the first volume of a series, and all the adventure will happen at Evermore, the place where they went on vacation.

Vacation Situation: A Dreamy and Steamy Beach Rom-Com by Jenny Alexandra was everything I wanted in a romance and so much more. It had me smiling, laughing, swooning, and completely invested from the very first chapter. I picked it up looking for a fun beach read, but I ended up falling in love with these characters.

Frankie was such a refreshing heroine. She was independent, funny, and determined to protect her heart, even when it became clear she was fighting something special. Theo completely stole the show for me. He was thoughtful, charming, and absolutely head over heels from the start. Watching him fall first while trying to prove that what they had was worth taking a chance on made my heart melt.

The chemistry between Frankie and Theo was undeniable. Their playful banter, emotional moments, and sizzling attraction made every interaction feel natural and exciting. I loved how their relationship grew throughout the week, showing that sometimes the best things happen when you're least expecting them.

The Evermore was the perfect backdrop for this story. It made me want to pack a suitcase, head to the coast, and escape for a week of my own. The beautiful setting, lovable cast of characters, and feel good atmosphere made this book impossible to put down.

If you're looking for a romance that delivers laughs, plenty of heart, unforgettable chemistry, and all the vacation vibes, this is one you won't want to miss. Jenny Alexandra created a story that left me with a huge smile on my face, and I already can't wait to read more from her.

Thank you to Jenny Alexandra for providing this ARC of Vacation Situation in exchange for my review.

⭐⭐ 4/5 stars ⭐⭐

So this was fun for a start simply because it's written by two authors rather than one, and I love that their names have been mashed together for the pen name. Collaborative brainstorming but make it romance, and honestly? It works.

Right, if you wanted a closed-door romance, run. Run now. This book was spice from start to finish with absolute chaos thrown in- that beach scene... insanity. Actual insanity. Bring on Max for the epic protection detail though, because someone needed to intervene.

Frankie is giving act now, deal with the consequences later, and her fierce "I don't need a man" energy is doing so much heavy lifting for the opposites attract trope here. The chemistry between her and Theo was properly off the charts, the kind where you're reading and just going oh, OH.
Theo though... Theo. A walking green flag. So grounded, so work-focused, doesn't want to swear off relationships entirely but has clearly been hurt before, and yet he falls quick anyway. We love him for it; we really do.

The banter, the setting, the fact that I now desperately want a beach party with Bee (minus the drama, please and thank you), and the way Max and Sasha are set up as proper incredible besties... are we getting more of them, please? This was fun, engaging, and honestly the perfect read in the middle of a heatwave.

I loved this book, Vacation Situation is the perfect summer read, it’s funny, romantic, spicy and has the perfect setting, sunny California coast.

This book had me hooked from the very beginning, it’s a dual POV and starts off with Frankie, I absolutely love her character, she’s chaotic, bold, super sassy and hilarious.

Frankie is a no ties, just have fun kinda gal but she’s honest and loyal, when she goes on vacation with her bestie the last thing she intended was to get wrapped up with someone who is boyfriend material and does everything she can to have no strings attached fun..

Theo wears his heart on his sleeve and definitely plays the he falls first trope to a tee. He’s a clean cut CEO and is instantly intrigued with the care free woman on the beach talking to his mate, he’s instantly attracted and is ready to leave his work behind and give this beautiful whirlwind his attention, but Frankie has one condition… one week only then they go their separate ways.

The side characters, Sasha and Max were brilliant and I can’t wait to see if they get their own story (please say they do) and I can’t forget to give a shout out to Bee, that was a character I wasn’t expecting and I loved her.

Overall this book had me hooked, it was a super fun read, the spice was spicing and the banter was hilarious. Thankyou so much Jenny Alexandra for the amazing opportunity to arc read this amazing story.

This was exactly the kind of romance book I was in the mood for & it had a slight twist from the usual romance mmo, which I loved. Instead of the MMC being the standoffish, swearing off love type, the FMC took that role in this one.

Frankie was wild, fearless and unabashedly herself. I fell in love with her just as easily as everyone else in Evermore. Her & Sasha, bestfriends and practically sisters, were THE girls. You couldn’t help but want to be a third wheel, just be included in some small way.

Theo, the very definition of a cinnamon roll MMC, makes you want to snuggle into his arms and stay there. He falls easily, loves deeply and WORSHIPS accordingly. He & Max, bestfriends and practically brothers, are the dynamic cinnamon roll/golden retriever duo. I really hope we get another book focused on Max!

Frankie & Theo together, you ask? Perfection. I absolutely devoured their banter & interactions. Their spicy scenes were sweltering. I couldn’t get enough of them. Not only was their chemistry off the charts but they also just really complimented each others personalities. They fit together seamlessly and challenged one another in a way that kept me invested. I really enjoyed their story and am excited to see what is in store from this author duo!

✨Thank you so much Jenny Alexandra for the early ARC copy! Can’t wait to have a shelf trophy!💕

I am an absolute sucker for a dual POV romance, and Vacation Situation had me hooked from the very first chapter.
From that unforgettable car ride, I knew I was in for a fun, flirty read. There's nothing quite like a steamy, fogged-up car window to get the heart racing! 🔥
It was obvious from the very beginning that Theo was falling—and falling hard. Watching him completely lose himself to his feelings for Frankie had me smiling the entire way through.
"Happy to be the raindrop that ends your drought." Honestly... what a line. 🥹
And don't even get me started on the chocolate-covered strawberries... I'll never look at them the same way again!
The chemistry between Frankie and Theo is magnetic. Every interaction had me desperate to keep turning the pages, rooting for them to get their happily ever after.
Jenny Alexandra has created a romance that is full of heart, humour, sizzling chemistry, and all the summer vibes you could want. This book genuinely makes you believe that it's possible to fall in love in just one week.
By the end, I was swooning just as hard for Theo as Frankie was.
If you're looking for the perfect summer romance filled with banter, undeniable chemistry, and characters you'll fall head over heels for, Vacation Situation needs to be on your TBR.

Arc reader! This was such a fun read. It gave me some Meghan Quinn vibes which means we have humor throughout the book.

Reading Platform: Kindle
Pros: I loved the quick wit and humor the fmc had throughout the book.
Cons: I feel like I missed some of the humor at the end of the book
Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
Rating: 4.5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Frankie was the main character that says what the rest of us wish we could say on the fly. She keeps Theo on his toes throughout the book. I love the fact that she friend request him before they meet and Theo already has a thing for her. His reaction to her posts made me laugh so hard.

This book made me want to go visit Carmelita! Just the feel of cobble streets and small time vibe just makes me want to take some books to read and go on vacation.

We can all hope to find friends who would switch rooms to make love happen as well as carry bear spray to protect us.

The only reason I gave it a 4.5 is I was missing the humor at the end of the book. It felt a little rushed. I want to see more of them getting back together and seeing where their future goes.

Now, I am interested to see where the author takes us do we get Maxs or Sasha’s. I would love to see what happens for Sasha. She deserves some love after her crappy boyfriend!

Vacation Situation was such a fun, addictive read! Once I started, I couldn't put it down. This book had quite a bit of spice, good thing I was reading it by the pool to cool off! 😉

Frankie Sinclair and Theo Beck are at very different points in their lives, but they both end up spending a week-long vacation at the charming Evermore Inn. When sparks begin to fly, they make three promises: stay friends, no big feelings, and no expectations. Of course, as the week unfolds, sticking to those rules becomes much easier said than done.

Frankie and Theo had fantastic chemistry, and I loved watching their relationship develop. The romance was equal parts sweet and steamy, with just the right balance of emotional depth and spice to keep me completely invested.

The supporting cast was another highlight. They added so much warmth and humor to the story, and I sincerely hope some of them get their own books in the future because I'd love to return to this world.

If you're looking for a vacation romance that's charming, funny, heartfelt, and plenty spicy, this one is definitely worth packing in your beach bag.

First of all, I wanted to say a big thank you to Jenny Alexander to sending me Vacation Situation as an ARC!

I thought this book was definitely interesting but not one of my favorite books that I have read this year!

Vacation Situation I thought was the perfect book for summertime! The story was full of fun and heartwarming romance! The main reason of why this book caught my attention was the excitement, chaos, and the unexpected things that happen on vacation.

I was so attached to the storyline that I could not book the book down until I knew the ending. My favorite character in this book would have to be Frankie and Theo! I thought that there relationship was developing naturally instead of feeling like it was rushed! Throughout there developing relationship, there was sweet, emotional, and memorable which included funny and heartfelt conversations.

The main challenges that I had with this book was that I thought that there was too much of smut scenes and not enough storyline!

Thank you Jenny Alexandra for creating a storyline and characters that kept me hooked throughout! I am looking forward to reading book 2 when it come out! I would overall give this book a 4 out of 5 star rating!

Frankie and Theo don't seem like they would be a good match on the surface. However, they are just what the other needs - Frankie gets Theo to loosen up and Theo shows Frankie that someone can see her and accept her.

Vacation Situation is an easy, engaging summer read that gives us that instant connection, lots of chemistry, and still gives us some good drama. Frankie and Theo both have baggage they need to get over before they can make room for each other.

Frankie is a bit immature with all the games she tries to play with leaning on her sexuality as a way to keep people at arms distant. However, as we learn more about her history, it becomes clearer why she behaves that way and that it is self-preservation. Theo falls hard and fast and that scares her.

There are enjoyable side characters - though, I could have done with less of Max questioning Frankie's character. Frankie finds that she doesn't have to deal with things alone - she can let people in. I'm equally curious about Sasha and Max each getting their own stories.

Thank you to the authors for an advanced reader copy to review.

At first, I honestly wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about Frankie. My first impression definitely wasn’t the best, but the more I got to know her, the more I understood why she kept everyone at a distance. Watching her slowly let her guard down and open herself up to love ended up being one of my favorite parts of the story.

Theo completely stole my heart. He was sweet, patient, supportive, and so devoted to Frankie that I found myself smiling every time he was on the page. He’s the kind of book boyfriend that’s impossible not to fall for.

I also loved the vacation setting and the friend group. The banter, chemistry, humor, and emotional moments all blended together to create the perfect summer romance. It was fun, flirty, steamy, and had just the right amount of heart.

And yes… you’ll never look at chocolate-covered strawberries the same way again! 🍓😂

If you’re looking for a romance that will leave you smiling and wishing you were on vacation too, I’d definitely recommend picking this one up.

I was fortunate to receive an advanced copy of this book and am leaving my honest review voluntarily.

Vacation Situation by Jenny Alexandra was exactly the kind of romance I wanted to disappear into. It was hilarious, ridiculously addictive, wonderfully spicy, and had me grinning through so much of it. The banter was genuinely funny (not just “rom-com funny”), and I flew through it because I never wanted to put it down.

Frankie is such a fantastic FMC. She’s chaotic, witty, refreshingly honest, and impossible not to root for. Her chemistry with Theo is instant, and every interaction between them had me kicking my feet. Theo has officially joined the ever-growing list of fictional men who have completely ruined my standards. Respectful, patient, funny, protective… yes please. I’d like one of him immediately.

The forced holiday setup, the tension, the laughs, the spice—it all balanced perfectly, making this one of those books that’s just pure fun from start to finish.

This was funny, feel-good, swoony, and incredibly easy to binge. If you’re looking for a summer romance with laugh-out-loud banter, plenty of chemistry, and a book boyfriend you’ll immediately become emotionally attached to, Vacation Situation absolutely deserves a spot on your TBR.

I am thankful to receive an advanced reader copy of this book.
I definitely will read the rest of the series.
I felt this book was a good three 3, 3.5. Overall theme of the beach and the spiciness is what drew me in. I love a good vacation romance story I liked the push and the Pull of the characters as well. I loved the banter and I loved the boldness of Frankie. Frankie is the friend I wanted to be friends with and I also love her being matched with Theo. I think that works very well.

I do think that the Pull away was a little too long, but the multiple times and the going after of Max. Maybe that’s just not my thing and other people will love that that’s kind of what didn’t sit right with me. It’s totally realistic, but it felt odd since she kind of knew Theo‘s backstory.

Overall, I did devour this within the day that it came out. I will say it is a great summer be treat, and you will finish it within the first few hours that you are by the pool or at your home on a little time away.

Looking forward to the rest of the series. Curious about Sasha

Vacation Situation was such a fun, cute, and swoon-worthy summer read!

From the very beginning, Frankie and Theo had incredible chemistry, and I found myself rooting for them the whole way through. I loved their playful banter, the emotional tension, and the way their romance developed naturally. And yes—the spice definitely delivers! 🌶️

One of my favorite parts was watching Frankie slowly let her guard down and fall for Theo. Their opposites-attract dynamic made every interaction entertaining, heartfelt, and impossible not to smile at.

The vacation setting was the perfect backdrop for this romance and gave the story all the beachy, summer vibes. It honestly made me want to pack my bags and escape for a week!

If you're looking for a fun, spicy beach read with plenty of chemistry, humor, and heart, I definitely recommend picking up Vacation Situation this summer. This was the perfect book to kick off my summer reading!

Thank you to Jenny Alexandra for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Messy, sassy, gentle, heartbreaking but also heartwarming. Yes lots of feelings 😍 I devoured this book. It was so easy to get lost in and I love that about books!

I really enjoyed Frankie’s personality. Very sassy, very I-don’t-care-what-you-say-or-think but also very broken (my poor girl) 🥹 And Theo… a very gentle, very kind-hearted and selfless man. He deserves all the love! Both were in a situationship that was clearly more than that and I was holding on to every turn of events so I can see them end up together! Yeahhh I can be a sucker for HEAs 🙈 I would have loved to get more out of their past individually but that didnt stop me from liking them as presented in the story.

I’m also rooting for Sasha (Frankie’s best friend)! She was so sweet and I imagine having a best friend like that would be such a blessing! Anyway, highly recommend this book for those who are wanting to see messy turn into something beautiful 💓
