Castles in Scotland – A Travellers’ Guide Volume II

This is the follow-up to my popular Castles in Scotland book. Twenty more top Scottish castles for you to read about. Download your copy to your PC, Mac, Smartphone, Tablet or Kindle device today.

I love Scotland. A beautiful, scenic country with much to recommend it to the tourist. And the history is a big part of that. And a huge contribution to the history of Scotland are the many magnificent castles throughout the land. I’m interested in both (history and castles) so what better way to illustrate that than a book about castles in Scotland. I’ve already written one which is available on Kindle and now here is volume II for your enjoyment.

A few of the featured castles are listed below though twenty are included in my book. Including the Royal connection at Breamar, the mysterious Urquhart on the banks of Loch Ness, Scone Palace and the Stone of Destiny to name but four.

Whether you are planning on a visit to Scotland or just have an interest in Scottish history then you should enjoy Castles in Scotland – a Travellers’ Guide Volume II.

Here Are Just Some of the Scottish Castles You Will Read About Inside...

Breamar Castle
Duart Castle
Dumbarton Castle
Urquhart Castle
Kildrummy Castle
And another fifteen more Scottish Castles.......

A twenty castle tour including a brief history of each, main features, opening times, photographs, travel directions and other things to see and do.

I did enjoy this book, its punchy with the facts, has a photo and a brief introduction to the castle along with what you can expect to look for when you get there, along with the instructions on how to do so. The only downside for me was he number of typos - without these could easily have been a 5 star guide
