Good recipes that won't require all day to prepare
I have tried several of these recipes so far and they were all excellent, especially the Superb Chicken Salad recipe. I will be trying the Baklava next and I fully expect that it will also be very good. Highly recommend!
The Mediterranean Diet is more than just a “diet,” it is a healthy way of life that puts emphasis on fresh, wholesome foods, and moderate amounts of dairy produce and healthy fats. It differs from a vegetarian or vegan diet because it does not restrict meat entirely but rather reduces the amount that is consumed on average. And if we are going to be honest with ourselves, that can’t be a bad thing.

This book is ok. The pictures and recipes are well done, my issue comes with the recipes them selves. I do not think I found any i would make. That being said for someone who likes seafood, fish things like octopus you may love this book. Just not for me. I will also say the beginning has several long chapters about the Mediterranean diet, why you should eat it, and the benefits of it. This was not information I needed , and I think it could have been compressed down a bit, but it is well wrote
Although I am not sure this would be right for me, I'm hypoglycemic, has wonderful tips and info. Meal plans, pictures, more info than a lot of other diets books. I recommend

What did I like? I can see where this type of diet would be so much healthier than the typical diet most of the people in the United States use. We have changed so much over the years and it shows in what and how we eat due to the lifestyle changes and being on the go that fast food has taken over. I was guilty of the same diet until I looked at myself in the mirror and did not like what I saw. Not saying I am a skinny person today but I can say with all confidence that I am much healthier. Unfortunate for me I have IBS and there are so many things that I cannot eat but I have modified many recipes to fit my needs and have lost almost 50 pounds. After reviewing this cookbook, I see that many of the ways that I have changed my cooking habits run along the same lines as this but I also saw that there are so many ways more that I can enhance the way that I eat and my cooking methods. I was very impressed with the variety of the food and the ways to incorporate it into my lifestyle. As many of you know I am not an experienced cook and I am learning, thankfully the correct ways of eating. It most certainly shows in the way that I feel and the energy levels that I have and I am sure this type of cooking will not only be healthy for me but will help (hopefully) me to lose more weight.
What are you going to like? A cookbook that is easy to read and shows all the steps that you need to prepare the food. But more than that you will be able to understand the concept of eating for healthier reasons and the benefits you can reap from this type of eating. William has laid it out in a step by step method and it is easy. Food that is delicious, healthy and looks great. For people with IBS problems it is easy to modify many of the recipes to eliminate what we can’t eat, there are so many ways to prepare the foods left in our diets that will be close. I highly recommend this way of eating and I am proof that it does work. I received this from the author for honest review with no other compensation.
