I'm halfway through the book, reading it to my youngest bit by bit. The illustrations are charming and the arrangement of the myths into a continuous narrative is clever. I am disappointed that Hyakinthos was left out and in the demonization of Hera, particularly in stories in which she was not usually involved. There are multiple typos in the text, which are distracting, but I'm more or less pleased with the handling of the subject matter, which was more thorough than I expected.
