A superb time travel tale that considers the issue of knowing too much about the future. Jake, is a bit of a lone wolf who loves genealogy, so much so he moves to his ancestral town in Yorkshire. He stumbles across time and meets George, a distant ancestor, who is 19 and about to leave England for the Battle of the Somme, where he will die.
George follows Jake to 1916 and so begins an education about the future, but will George do with that knowledge?
Thoroughly engaging with likeable characters that have depth and develop as the novel progresses. A wonderful weave of time.
I received an ARC of this book, and I am very happy to lave this review.
This author writes really captivating novels that I literally can’t put down and An Easter Through Time is no exception. If you love stories about time travel set between modern day and late Victorian/Edwardian England then this one is a must.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this honest review voluntarily.
