I bought this cheap on thrift books. It wasn’t exactly what I needed but I bookmarked two activities to use in my creative movement classes this fall, so I got some ideas out of it.
The first section of the book has the stretching and movement exercises that my daughter likes best and that most closely match what I expected the book would be about. Section Two has exercises geared towards helping children grow up aware of and comfortable in their own bodies, and Section Three has pantomime games that parents and children play together to learn about something else (holidays, music, long car rides). I'm sure the exercises in Sections Two and Three are useful, I just expected the exercises to be more physical, getting up and dancing kind of activities.
