Sweet and innocent Rosalie keeps hearing those eerie voices coming up through the air shaft in the Brooklyn home she shares with her boyfriend Franco. These voices call out to her, summoning her to the cellar, tormenting her from a world of another dimension. Is the house haunted or is Rosalie losing her sanity? Her relationships with Franco and her very best friend Maria slowly disintegrate with each passing day, leaving Rosalie to struggle with what is real and what is not. Only Michael, an old college friend, reaches out to Rosalie to help identify the demons who torment her; with the hope of solving the mystery that wreaks havoc in Rosalie’s world.

Phyllis P. Colucci is a freelance/indie writer from Brooklyn, New York. She is currently retired from a Supervisory Administrative position with a Federal law enforcement agency, in New York City, and is now pursuing her passion for writing fiction. She has always had a love for writing over the years, whether it be poetry, short stories or novels; and mystery and suspense is something she has recently gravitated towards with a touch of romance and that "New York edge". Phyllis was born in 1956 and was raised in Brooklyn by Italian-American parents. She had one sister, who was a teacher with the New York City Board of Education, and has one son who is pursuing a career in the entertainment field. Phyllis has a strong love for New York and the beauty it offers - the culture, the arts, the theatre, the museums, the parks, the skyscrapers, Greenwich Village, the cafes, the restaurants, the Department stores, "Christmas in New York", the people; and the knowledge that "New York is a City that never sleeps".
