When Alema attacked his queen Trucido had no idea how much his life would intertwined with hers forever. Alema had to come out of the shadow of her sister Seco in order to become who she was always meant to be and Trucido had to meet Alema to realize that devotion to a queen is admirable but devotion to someone you love is better by far.
This was witty, charming, lusty and full of battles, not just physical ones but mental battles and how overcoming what you believe to be right and what your heart is telling you to do. This was the 6th book in the series but I have not read the first 5 and now they will all be on my TBR.

This book is one to read. It shook me to my core due to it being different from the beginning books. Each story as this series goes gets better and better.
What I loved about this book is the elements within it. The writing flows beautifully, the chain of events flow, and the characters always take you by surprise.
When the book releases I will be updating my review to everything I want to include. I do not want to spoil the book before it is out. A must read!

Another great addition to the Brimstone Court series! This has a great enemies to lovers story and the banter is 🔥. Alema’s heartbreak and resulting rage drive her towards revenge and violence, but Trucido is there to teary her attempts. Of course the tension leads to something more, and then when she gets herself into trouble he has to rush to the rescue.

Check the trigger warnings. This is book 6 in the series they are interconnected standalones. Once I started reading I could not stop. This book had me in a hold. Alema and Trucido were amazing and well written. The details were great. I was not expecting some of the twists. This book was amazing. I cant wait for the next book.
