This Book Is A Gift: A Funny Interactive Christmas Picture Book About The Joy Of Giving
A festive favorite you’ll want to read again and again—long after the decorations come down…
Finn the Frog LOVES Christmas.
The lights. The cookies. The presents—especially the presents.
But when Finn goes a little overboard with his wish list, the reader starts to wonder… did he forget what the holidays are really about?
As Finn hilariously attempts to give gifts of his own (including some truly questionable ones), he slowly discovers something the best presents aren’t shiny, big, or even wrapped. They’re thoughtful. They’re from the heart. And sometimes… they’re just a hug.
This Book Is A Gift is a laugh-out-loud, interactive Christmas picture book that invites kids right into the story—asking them to help, react, shake the book, and even redeem a real frog hug at the end. Perfect for Christmas read-alouds, bedtime stories, classroom storytime, and families who want a meaningful laugh during the holidays.
With bright illustrations, playful fourth-wall breaks, and a heartfelt message about generosity, This Book Is A Gift reminds kids (and grown-ups) that giving really does feel better than getting.

“Life with kids is an amazing adventure—one I would not trade for the world. One of my favorite times of the day is when my kids snuggle up on my lap to read a few books before bed. I absolutely love how picture books capture their imagination, make them laugh out loud, and bond us closer together. To be able to provide those moments for other families with my own books has become one of my greatest joys in life.”

Thank you to Edelweiss and Flypaper Press for an ARC of this book!
We loved this Christmas book! This is part of the Finn the Frog Collection and it did not disappoint! This was the perfect addition to this series. It had great messaging, cute humor, and creative illustrations to get you into the Christmas spirit! I loved how it circled back on the importance of Christmas and to keep your toddlers focused on the true meaning of Christmas and how not to get caught up in just receiving and the busyness of the season!
