About the author

Bruno Cesare Antonio Sebastiani (Milan, Italy, 1949) is an Italian author and independent scholar whose work spans philosophy, sociology, and anthropology. He is the author of The Planet’s Cancer series, which examines the ecological crisis through a provocative analogy between the dynamics of malignant growth and the expansion of human civilization. His work explores population growth, resource consumption, technological power, and the cultural assumptions underlying humanity’s relationship with the biosphere. He lives in Liguria, Italy, on the edge of a forest.
