Loaded with beautiful color reproductions of Kandinsky’s work throughout his life. A linear narrative also gives an overview of the many political challenges he was forced to endure: First World War, Russian Revolution, Second World War, each of which forced him to regroup financially and logistically. During all of these upheavals he did not lose his passion and focus for art. His production was prolific, and his writings and teaching left a legacy for future generations.
