Birth is so, fantastically amazing! I have a whole new appreciations for moms than I ever have had before. Giving birth such an intense action, but I imagine that it must be very rewarding as well. To first raise a baby in your womb (your body is pretty much an entire ecosystem! It feeds the baby and nurtures the baby and everything,) then to actually go through the delivery, and then to raise the child outside in the world. They're strong women, those mothers.

This book wasn't too bad. It assumes you already know quite a bit about birth, which is fine. For those with little to no understanding about birth, I wouldn't recommend starting with this one. This is better for those who have already done some reading and research. It has some great natural tips. Of course, I have no clue if they actually work... Maybe I'll have some idea in, oh, ten or fifteen years.

Have I mentioned that babies are miraculous and fascinating? No? They are. They really are.

Excellent content and information. I loved all the information about drugs and possible side effects, which allowed me to weigh the pros and cons during my own labour. Also contained really good information regarding preparing for birth and what to expect.
I loved this book and felt it really helped me through my own labour without having to use any drugs.
