Some people believe that they will do anything humanly possible for love, and some people will move heaven and earth for it. Leigh has always believed that she fell into the first category, but as she feels herself falling for Ryan, she wonders if she's descending into madness instead, clutching madly at her ideals on the way down but losing grip every time Ryan looks at her or whispers in her ear.
Maybe heroines in books would do better than her but hey, heroes in books have nothing on Ryan. He says he wants to be friends, but he doesn't kiss like a friend. She vows that she won't go any further than kisses, but Ryan's touch does things to her that no written words ever have. Is she foolish for having onto her archaic ideals, when such a passionate affair seems almost written in the stars for her?
Ryan wants to prove himself to be a man of worth, given that there's nothing he knows about himself as a fact, and he knows that rising above the temptation to seduce Leigh will indeed, prove that regardless of what happened in his last life, he has earned a second chance in this new one. But how can he do that when he wants Leigh so much that he can barely remember what manners are, let alone practice them and restraint? Girls like Leigh don't come easily- and though he senses that he can take whatever he wants from her and get away with it, he starts wondering if maybe the solution to his problems is to give instead.
But what can he give freely, without knowing if he already belongs to someone else? The author of The Hardest Fall may have all the answers Ryan needs to trigger his memories back, but as the prospect of meeting Kathryn Praser becomes more likely, he starts to baulk, drawing out his time with Leigh before the cover can slam shut between them under the weight of his former life. What if he doesn't want to have a soul-mate waiting for him anymore? What if he'd rather get lost in Leigh's eyes, than seek out the ones from his dreams?
Hearts will break and the heavens will open in this gripping conclusion to the Kissed By A Muse Trilogy.
S.K Munt is an author and playwright from north Queensland, Australia. She mostly writes adult paranormal fantasies, but loves to take the sweetness, hope and innocence that makes YA so beguiling, and give it an adult twist. You could say that she has a 'Pan' complex as far as happy endings go.
Samantha has 4 children, and is happily married to her first love. So far she has penned thirty-two novels, and five plays. In her spare time, she can be found at rehearsals for her local theatre groups, surfing, reading or cleaning compulsively.
This could possibly the most epic conclusion to the BEST trilogy in the whole wide world!!! After reading all of this trilogy, I am now seriously considering a visit to Australia. I do have to say that I've hopelessly fallen in love with this series to a point that is very unhealthy. I may possibly turn into another Leigh (or should I say Honey?). In More Than Words we get to learn so much more backstory that I think I may have seen the light. I have definitely fallen for Ryan because he is the sweetest guy that has never existed. Maybe if I think about him hard enough he'll pop into existence? Leigh was such a doll that I think she is now my best-est friend (book-wise). I am most definitely jealous of her situation to a point of no end because she gets to keep every inch of Ryan to herself, and I'm left with words on my Kindle. Their story was literally More Than Words could say. Ms. Munt has really impressed every step of the way and she continues to impress me. I do say that I've enjoyed every book I've read by her, and I absolutely cannot wait until she comes up with another beautiful story to bless us all with. While reading this book I also enjoyed her inside-jokes that had me rolling on the ground laughing. If there were a way to bring all of these books to life (and I'm talking like real-real life) I would jump on the chance that way I could enjoy the company of the drop-dead gorgeous men she brings to life on the page. I highly suggest ANYONE and EVERYONE to read at least one of Ms. Munt's books because once you've read one, you'll be hooked.
Spoilers! I cant say enough great things about this author. She has a way of making all the little details you read come back around and complete the story. Even though I didnt agree with who Ryan ended up with, she made me love Leigh too. My favorite was really the first book in the series. I do have to say though I liked Ryan with Callie more. They seemed like completely different people in the 2nd and 3rd books. I didnt like seeing his love change so quickly and he almost became bitter towards her in the third book. It made sense for the story as the muse of music was really meant for such a rock star but It felt like the 1st book was a standalone.. However, I think the author wrapped it up nicely to make sense in the end, and I could get behind Ryan loving Leigh. I would love to have seen an epilogue with Calliope and Hunter when she tells him who she is.
