"The Black Postcard Price Guide," 2nd Edition was released on July 1, 1999. The former title was "Black Americana Postcard Price Guide" which has sold out. The new edition is greatly enlarged and all values are updated if warranted. There are over 730 great images (700 of which are new to this edition!) and 400 pages. The 12 and 10 exciting categories include Artist-Signed(with many checklist additions); Unsigned Artists; Advertising; Real Life with many additions; Real Photos (great changes and new prices); Sports (many additions); Entertainers; Topicals; and two brand new chapters on Social History and Lynching. The book was written by author J.L. Mashburn (his ninth on postcards). This book, although a terrific reference postcard price guide, is also a tremendous book for students and scholars of black studies as it relates black and Black Americana Social History for this entire century...all on postcards.
