Simply put, the Travel Nurse’s Bible is the best resource you will find on the process of becoming a travel nurse. It will walk you through each step, including what qualifications you must have, and what traits you should possess, in order to become a traveling healthcare professional.
More specifically, the Travel Nurse’s Bible is the culmination of over a decade and a half of experience in the field of travel nursing. Along with the author's experience, you will find content from several CEO’s of top travel companies, as well as content reviewed by a tax professional that specializes in the preparation of returns for traveling healthcare professionals.
Along with the written content is an offer by the author to personally walk you through the steps involved in becoming a travel nurse and answer any questions you have along the way. Again, it is simply the best resource you will find on the process of becoming a travel nurse.
This book was written some time ago and many things such as testing have changed. What hasn’t? The “meat and potatoes” of what travel nursing encompasses. A nice read chalk full of great information for new travelers. Even dated, some of his advice and information helped tremendously as a new travel nurse. Great tips on what to look for, being prepared, taxes and how to handle the tough moments faced by travel nurses. I would love to see a second addition but still, such valuable information to start my travel nursing career!
Not sure what I was hoping to get out of this, but as a nurse that’s traveled for over a year and a half it wasn’t particularly helpful. Rather informal and not well-written, I’m sure it would be helpful to a first time traveler.
This was a great read. I feel that after reading this I am much more prepared for my first travel assignment. I am really looking forward to traveling with my family and truly appreciate the time David has dedicated to helping current and future travelers. Thanks again and I will definitely be contacting him for his advice and of course that lucrative referral bonus.
This book was very informative and packed with a wealth of useful resources. I do suggest this book to all nurses that travel or are considering to do so.
