Excellent piano pedagogy stuff here. Pearce prefaces the book with disclaimer that this is not written to be a textbook. Though written more casually than a textbook, her discussion of physical technique, practice techniques, and more are what every piano teacher should know.

Coupled by the fact I gleaned inspiration from this book for my own pedagogy workshops, this book earns a five star!

Something I haven't incorporated yet - Pearce discusses "backwards practicing" for phrasing (e.g. Practicing the final note of the phrase, then adding another measure before, and finally playing the entire phrase).
