About the author

Karen Dill Bowerman is a systems manager, business strategist and writer. She's driven by the potential for building entrepreneurial attitudes throughout all levels of business management and in government. Her purpose is to work toward that end, while generating the power of true fiscal responsibility in organizations. Only then can the Big Objectives be achieved.

As a former dean of business and public administration in California, her writing currently centers on a phenomenon I’ve always found fascinating – the increasing investment that we humans often give to a losing proposition. That spiraling investment can be by a person, a business or a government.
