After I hear this talk I am not kidding, my husband and I actually did turn off the TV...in fact we disconnected our cable all together so no instead of doing everything in front of the dummy box, we watch good movies, read books, play games and spend better quality time together as partners and as parents.
This is one of those things that makes you (or me, anyway) feel better about yourself because you're already trying to live your life that way. A definite must for many out there! A great talk for teens, too.
As always John Bytheway is amazing. This makes me so grateful we don't have cable and rarely watch network TV! And it makes me realize my kids are playing too many computer games and watching too many movies I need to do something about that ASAP!
There are so many wonderful points in this book! It makes you evalute your day and what you are doing with it....especially if you like to watch a lot of tc :)
