This is a short simple erotic story about a gay man desiring his new neighbor who is moving next door. The main character watched out his window as the new mysterious muscular man lifted the boxes and carried them to his new house. His desires for the man grew as he stared more. Something strange happens when the man lifted his head and was staring straight at the protagonist as if he smelled him! There was something dark and primal in this new neighbor's eyes. Later at night, he will know the truth about this new man in the neighborhood.
This is a simple direct story. There is no character build-up here. I usually call these kinds of stories as the "I want you" genre where the two characters meet and know they want to have not just sex but be together for life, be mates for eternity. I know many readers do not like this as they think it does not feel realistic, but hey we are talking here about werebears so this is fantasy after all.
“I’m a werebear. My name is Marcus and I could smell your arousal earlier. It called to me and I felt a need grow inside me. I want to claim you, if you will let me. I’ve searched for my perfect human mate. A man who loves me and my bear and will be my mate.”
The sex scene is quite hot and depending more on the protagonist's narration with some light dialogue between the two characters. Usually these "I want you" genre books are straight forward and have the "feel good" to them. They come with a happy ending both sexually and story-wise making them a good reading choice in heavy stressful days.
