I really enjoyed reading Charleston Grit. The story focuses on the friendship between Nancy and Julia Caroline and how their relationship grows and changes over time. It was one of those books where the connection between the characters is really the heart of the story!

I also loved how the author, Stephanie Edwards, sprinkled in little pieces of Southern culture throughout the book. The traditions, personalities, and Isle of Palms setting made it feel warm and authentic, almost like you were sitting in on conversations with them.

Overall, it’s a great read - especially if you’ve read her other books! I love seeing the past, present and future of all of her characters.

What a story!  Love, loss, tears and laughter are at the heart of this touching book.  (Oh! and did I mention GHOSTS?)  A prequel to the Isle of Palms series brings  life to the characters and their beginnings.  I especially liked the explanation of a bottling tree in this story. Highly Recommend!

So excited to be back in Palm Court with my favorite sassy ladies! Charleston Grit shows us, once again, the power of the determined, Southern woman. A touch of supernatural and a dash of mystery come together for this lovely adventure.
