"Ingested" by Indigo Queen is a 5-star erotic horror! Reese was just dumped by her boyfriend and decides to go to the Colony Carnivale looking for the attention she desires. Carrion is the handsome man in charge of operating the Tunnel of Love. Can Carrion give Reese what she is looking for?
The chapters alternate between the perspectives of the two main characters. This is another very short novella, but it has everything we have come to love about this series. The Tunnel of Love starts off just as you would imagine a ride like that would, but it quickly becomes a twisted version of what you might find at a typical carnival. Even though we were told from the beginning that this is not an HEA (I mean, did we really think there would be one in this series?), it still took a turn that I was not expecting.
Indigo Queen delivers another great addition to this series, and I look forward to seeing what comes next in this dark and twisted world!

This read was a short read, however, it was still packed full of Carnivale madness.. and a (healthy) sprinkle of spice.

I loved this read! It was refreshing to see another take on the Carnivale, and another character that wonders the grounds.

This was a very engaging read. Reese and Carrion were definitely very interesting characters. I loved the reveal at the end about the tunnel of love and the faces within it. I thought it was so interesting. The writing was really great in the story and it’s definitely one of my favorites so far. I definitely will be adding this author on my TBR list.

She plays the ride off as it’s just as cheesy as in the movies, but Carrion talks her into riding it with him and she gets more than expected from it.

This was a sexy gory Hannibal lector type book I was so here for everything Carrion was doing to Reese really set herself up with his man and he did this as slow as possible he knew her desires was going to get away with her judgment and she did not listen to the mirrors look or listen look at the mirrors around her and what make this more sinister she knew something was up but she just let her desires win and take over and she got her demise in the end and this was a 10 out of 10 loved it 😈🖤

Not that I think any of these will lead to a HEA but this definitely in every way you can think of, is not one. Be careful what you wish for should be a strong tagline for this. Reese is fresh from a breakup and in need of attention and Carrion is more than happy to provide it for her. Whatever body horror you're thinking comes with this title, I'm pretty sure it'll turn out far differently than you'd expect.

Tunnel of love turns dark and gory! Reese thought she would find some fun at the Carnivale fresh off a breakup and finds the tunnel of love. One thing turns into another and things get REAL messyyyyyy! Ingested, #13 in the Colony Carnivals series, was SO good! It was very much horror-themed, which I absolutely loved. It was so unhinged and so my type of story. Of course, I was not expecting this story to go where it went, but I absolutely ate it up. I need more of this and cannot wait to see what comes next!

I started this one thinking that it was going to be a vampire tale. LOL! I'm just... I don't even know. There a are just so many things I could say. It was short and oh so much!

Wow so this was a quick spicy erotic horror read. While there was no HEA it was still really good. There was a good amount of spice. While the FMC did say she wanted to be devoured I don’t think she thought it would happen the way it did lol. I don’t think I will be going on any tunnel of love rides anytime soon 🤣

Well, that certainly gives new meaning to the phrase I want to devour you. This attraction definitely fits in with the vibe of The Carnivale. well, being a shorter story, this one definitely does not lack anything. I hope to see more of carry-on in future booths as I do have a few questions about what he is specifically, but this one was great.

Everyone likes the 'Tunnel of Love' right? What if it wasn't what you think it was? I'm not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't this!! A deeply intoxicating, can't put it down book that moves quickly. Reese just wants to have fun post breakup and Carrion, the Tunnel of Love ride operator is more than happy to oblige her... but at what cost. No HEA here, serious gore, lots of desire and heat, and hunger that can't be explained.
