This short and sweet e-book answers some of the most asked questions from women to the wife of Top Relationship Coach, Tony Gaskins, Jr. In this quick read Sheri gets straight to the point about what made Tony say "I do." Sheri doesn't claim to be a love guru by any stretch of the imagination, but here she shares her experience with Tony with the hopes that it will help someone.
This book was not what I was expecting from Sheri and I was highly disappointed. It wasn't even a book it was more like an essay where she answered a few questions that people asked her over time about her relationship with her husband Tony Gaskins. Sheri briefly explained how women should respect themselves in relationships and showed how having standards and sticking to them worked in her favor and a few more other aspects of their relationship. I just wish it was more about becoming a wife type versus her just answering a few questions about her husband and her stand on their relationship. She definitely has the potential to connect with and inspire a lot of women with her knowledge and I hope to see more from her soon.
This was a very short read that answered questions frequently asked by followers of Tony Gaskins. It took me about 30 minutes to read. Honestly, this was more like a blog. There are a few times where Sheri repeats some of the same points discussed in other areas of the book but if you haven't read it I won't spoil it for you. Overall I did find it helpful . I would recommend this book to newlyweds as well as women who are working towards healthy relationships. As a reader you will see that Sheri doesn't take any junk! So definitely keep in mind as you read that what works for them may not work for everyone. The takeaway for me: set your standards early in a relationship and let a man know what you will and will not accept. I look forward to a longer read from Sheri so that she can explain these points in more detail.
I like her point of view on marriage. Wish I had come across their books before I remarried 8 years after my first husband passed. I would have done things differently.
I loved how direct and transparent Sheri is with her wisdom. I could feel her authenticity through each work. I think some of the principles she discussed is vital towards making a relationship successful. Definitely a must read!
The wisdom that God has given Sheri is amazing. A woman who has the humility and intelligence to articulate much needed insight in this day and time. 👑Thank you 🙏🏾
I loved the strong values of Mrs Gaskins, that is sadly missing from our society especially from our women. Men too, but I can only speak from a woman's view. Men can only do what a Woman allows them to do. I've been married for 31 years and I pretty much have the same philosophy, marriage is work; by two people who wants to become as one loving relationship. This is a very good read for everyone. Thank you Mrs Gaskins for being you!!
Nothing special. Its an 18 page short e-book that just focuses on Tony Gaskins' (renowned relationship coach) wife- Sheri's opinions/tips on what works for her in her relationship and marriage to Tony. What works/worked for her may not work for you. Take what you will from the e-book. But its nothing mind-blowing, especially with all the hype that currently surrounds this e-book. Meh.
This is an interesting read, but not life-changing. Many of her points are things that seemed common-sense to me. Her anecdotes are helpful, though, because I am not familiar with Tony Gaskins' work with any level of depth.
It's incredibly brief - it seems more like a couple of blog posts. I finished it in about 10 minutes.
