Then one day, a decision was made and everything changed. He went away to do a bid. He told you not to wait. You did everything y’all discussed and became everything you didn’t know you could be. You’re “that girl”. Not in a little way either. He comes home. You didn’t know. And now, well now he’s coming back for you because you two belong to each other.
Vant decided he was getting Emree back by any means necessary and then proceeded to do just that. This was a story of forgiveness, growth, grief, and love prevailing through time and heartache. S/O to you Big Pynnie!!!!

Such a good read!! AP really knows how to make a girl swoon. I loved the buildup and the flashbacks showing what their love once looked like. I'll forever want to live in the universes she creates!!
You might even spot another recent couple in the background . The pacing was great too! Left no moment for me to wonder what would happen next.

I love a good second-chance romance, especially when the MMC does not play about his woman. This story is straight out-the-mud to boss-man/boss-woman energy.
Trevante comes home fresh out of prison with one goal — get his girl back. One wrong decision cost him four years without the love of his life. Now he’s back, ready to right his wrongs and reclaim what’s his.
Emree is slick-mouthed, strong, and not the one to be played with. After four years of heartbreak — and being blocked by the man she loved — she convinced herself she healed and moved on. Except… the man who still holds her heart is back, and he’s coming for her.
Emree is officially my new favorite FMC. She’s the definition of That Girl. I love how she had a soft heart and helps those who needed it. She was a girl’s girl. While Trevante was locked up, she flipped her his money and her pain into power and built something sophisticated and bossed up. She held him down while also learning how to live without him. Whew.
As much as I love second-chance romance, I love it even more when the FMC makes that man feel the hurt before taking him back. And Emree’s mouth? Slick as ever 😂 She did not make it easy.
But let’s talk about Trevante. That man did not play when it came to his woman. Protective. Intentional. Standing on business. Anybody could get it when it came to her. When he said, “ I enjoy nothing more than watching you walk in freedom because every boogeyman is slayed,”
yeah… that sealed it for me.
And the side characters? Hilarious. They added just the right amount of humor to balance the intensity.

AP had yet to write a character that I can't stand.
Trevante is fresh out and he is coming back to get his woman, but Emree she is not making it that easy. I love an FMC that has a mount on her and is not afraid to go toe to toe with the MMC, like he is going to have to earn her back. You get to learn how Trevante & Emree met, and also what lead to him getting sent away. With him being sent away he thought he is doing what is best for Emree, and breaking things off. Now that he is out, he has one mission and that is to get back in her good graces.
Emree is the standout character for me in this one. you learn why she is the way she is because of her upbringing. Trev not believing that they could survive the time and distance did a number on her. While she might have been heartbroken, she still handled business while he was locked up and had him set up really good with real estate and business for when he gets out.
I enjoyed their second chance romance story; I loved that Trevante gave her space in the beginning but also made it clear that he wasn't going anywhere. Loved how he listened and understood how he hurt her in the process of him leaving. There was found family, and a few plot twists that kept the story entertaining.

Coming For You gave all the feels. A story about standing on business, building and growth if I must say so myself. Emree and Trevante may seem like they had or have this toxic connection, but that is far from the truth. That old sayin about “if you love something let it go and if it comes back” blah blah blah has some truth in it. AP has a way with words and reading this story definitely made me feel like I was in Majestic Heights rooting for ReeRee and Tres. "You were peace in my chaos. The joy in my pain. The laughter in sorrow. You have created legacy. You have been my church. And I swear, God did exactly what needed to be done when He made you for me. I will forever clear your path so you walk freely. I’ll forever be your shelter. Your safehouse. The holder of your fears. I’ll listen. I’ll love. I’ll lead. And in whatever lifetime, I’ll come for you, I promise.”

Baby, Ms. Pynn you did it again!!
Trevante is def all about Em, not him setting off her motion sensors so that she can come check and he can see her, Him going away def made her put up her walls but our guy really put in the work to win her back. I love that he was willing to end any and everyone behind her. Em also wasn't no weak one, she was a boss and held it down even though her heart had been shattered by the decision he made for them those years ago. Knowing that she was pregnant. When they finally talked it out, it was exactly what each needed to move forward with their 2nd chance. Clark was a waste of space, and when Trevante handled that I smiled. Now the shit with Sis father, I did not see that coming, damn, he was a bitch even till death, Vant was exactly what she needed him to be her safe space. Yeah, he fucked up before but he more than made up for it. Love the sense of found family with everyone in the book.

Side Note: The flashbacks should have been in Italics, because baaaby, I was getting confused, and had to go back and reread the scenes to stay on track.
Emeree gave this man h€ll when he did what he did! She loved him hard and went thru a traumatic experience. However, baby girl is a boss and all she learned from Trevante, she put to great use and leveled up! This was one savvy business oriented woman! Just loved how she was a boss! Chefs kiss 😘!
Trevante was relentless and was not giving up on baby girl. Their sparring was like a tennis match and had me whipping my head back and forth. They both loved each other down!

A Coming Home Love Story…..
Aubree did it again I know this lady be stressing herself ragged for us but I’m telling you guys this author a real one! This story was about a man getting back his woman and his woman opening up back to love again. They breathed each other and the grief of being apart was so hard. Their love story is one for the books that you can tell your future people for eons. Tres doesn’t play about his ReeRee and vice versa. I enjoyed the heck out this book and ate it up like dinner a solid 4.5⭐️. Can’t wait for more of Author Aubree’s artistry 🤎🫶.

I enjoyed the found family and how they had each others back. Emree built an empire for Tres while he was locked away and he came home ready to change his life and live out the plans they had dreamed of and talked about. Their journey was beautiful and gave me all the feels in this second chance romance.

The carring on between these two,Trevante was not playing about getting his woman back, he would break back into prisons if she was there. And I don’t know who Emree thought she was kidding cause she knew she wanted that man back too. She held him down although he turned her away not wanting her wasting her life waiting on him, but she took his money and his lessons and made sure when he did came home he had an empire. Trevante was determined to not only get Emree back but repay her with all and plus more.

I loved the growth and evolution of them and their story! Vant in his absence left a girl and came back to a boss, a woman and he had to treat her as such. I love how he realized the old him and his old ways wouldn’t work on her he had to come correct to the grown woman Emree. The storyline and other characters made it funny, real, and passionate. I enjoyed them pouring into each other and the words of affection and affirmation given to one another. 10/10

My girl said, flipping wasn't easy but it was done. Now with the man home, all the wholes she was missing he filled them and made her walk easy.
Jealousy did get them anywhere but the river.

Honeyyyyyyy Tre was a man. He stood on business, was a leader, provider, a life guider and about that life . Em was that woman!!! She took every skill, lesson and blessing he gave her and multiplied it. Baby when she said that man was her, Church. Whewwwwwwww. I just want a glimpse of that kind of love. I enjoyed this second chance romance.

4.5 ⭐️ i enjoyed this story so much. emree stronger than me chile bc i would’ve folded by day 2! i very much dropped a couple tears at end because he really was clearing her path literally and figuratively 😭 doing everything to make her life easier and not even saying anything whew! my only complaint is the flashbacks had me confused for like half the book bc they weren’t in italics or separated but once i figured out what was happening i could tell the difference

Loved Emree and Trevante. The way she supported that man but also didn’t play with was music to my ears. My only issue was the edits were a bit off this one. However, I’m always down for a Pynnie production so it didn’t hinder me.
