A PRINCESS FOR PEMBERLEY

Rate this book
Miss Elizabeth Bennet had no idea what awaited her as she and the Gardiners went into Derbyshire and visited Lambton, the small village that had been her Aunt Madeline’s girlhood home. Mrs. Gardiner had not been back for many years and after visiting with old friends the first two days, the threesome set off from Lambton to tour Pemberley, which was five miles away. Pemberley was the grandest of the great estates in the county, and because their carriage had a serious accident, the visitors were moved to the great house to recover and were guests of the owner, Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy.Elizabeth was a gentleman’s daughter, but she had never seen such beauty as she saw at Pemberley. She was impressed with all she saw and the owner was kind and attentive to her. He was also very handsome and Elizabeth knew she must be careful. Her father had warned her before that great men often have their way with young women, but she thought this man was different. The visitors and the owner developed a friendship during their stay at Pemberley. Lovely

A short, sweet and low angst variation inspired by Jane Austen's classic novel Pride and Prejudice. An enjoyable little story

The story was rather jumpy in pace, the characters were rather out of character. A ton of inconsistency and though the writing wasn't awful, it wasn't good either.

It's a worth a shot if you have Kindle Unlimited, but I wouldn't recommend purchasing the book until/unless you've determined you like it.

not to bad

I really enjoyed this book it's not very well written, but her character development makes up for the poor writing. The issue was the dialogue is poorly done the story telling itself is actually really good just not written very well. Love the idea
