The second book is a 5 🌟 read for me. I see similarities with authors like Jo Dixon, Rae Cairns, and Harlan Coben - great writing!

The story develops with growing complexity, featuring numerous points of view. Nevertheless, I have to admit that the Director's perspective made me feel nauseous and furious. As the second book in this trilogy, it deserves a 5-star review; there's so much more depth to her writing style. When I read this in comparison to the first, my reaction was Outraged, repulsed, but I was also deeply invested.

Another great read! Harriet has written a story that is so compelling that you feel like you are right in the storyline with the characters. You feel it all. Very deeply. The fear, the sadness, the anger, the unknown. It’s scary to think that this happens in real life more often than we realize. Definitely worth the read.

This story makes you feel like you are living the story. She has a. Way of making you feel the emotions of the characters in the book. As the story continues you are on pins and needles waiting to see how the characters will ever find closure.
