I had the pleasure of receiving this as an e-ARC and voluntarily will be giving my honest review. If you love mafia romance then you will love this book!! I read this in one sitting has i could not put it down!! What an emotional roller coaster this was. This is a dark mafia romance with spice and plot!! Spice is written well!! Your MMC worships your FMC and would do anything for her. I definitely can’t wait for more… Chef’s kiss B Wills!!

“She ran from one devil—and landed in the arms of a king.

Caterina Marchetti was never meant to survive the bargain her family tried to sell her into. When she flees an arranged marriage sealed in blood, the only man powerful enough to hide her is the one her enemies fear most.

Enzo Caravelli.

Cold. Calculated. Untouchable. Don of a legacy built on silence and consequence.

What begins as protection… and obsession turns into war.

As trafficking rings fall, police pressure tightens, and the city turns its eyes toward the Caravelli empire, Enzo and Caterina bind themselves together in secret—marriage forged under gunfire and vows sworn in shadow.

But power never dissolves quietly.
And love is the most dangerous leverage of all.

Now the system is coming for their blood. The FBI is circling. And the city is watching for one of them to fall first.

They wanted control.

Instead, they awakened a dynasty.”

So I have a thing for this Mafia style type of book..
I loved this because of so many reasons! The ruthlessness that shows up in this book from both sides is truthfully unmatched.
Enzo is the ULTIMATE bad boy but good man. Playing a dangerous game protecting what he now claims as his. Staying loyal to his family and the roots he grew up in.
Caterina is the product of a family’s choice to survive another day without the thought of her well-being. She’s a survivor though and finds herself in the cross hairs of the next most dangerous thing.. Enzo.
I’ll always be down bad for a morally gray man but when he immediately takes what he claims as his and bends over backwards to protect it!!! Oh my goodness!!
The power dynamic between the two Main characters is addicting, seeing Caterina lean into being a BOSS was super fun to follow and very “Girl Power” of B. Wills.
I was hooked from the first chapter, I am so thankful for the opportunity to early read thank you to B. Wills and the group for accepting me! I cant wait for more from this group and author!

ARC review

Sinful Oath by B. Wills pulls you straight into a dark, dangerous world where loyalty is currency and love might be the most reckless gamble of all.
Caterina Marchetti refuses to become a pawn in a brutal arranged marriage, and her escape drops her straight into the orbit of the one man no one dares challenge: Enzo Caravelli. Enzo is exactly the kind of morally gray mafia king readers crave. Calculated, ruthless, and terrifyingly composed… yet completely undone when it comes to Caterina. Their relationship builds from reluctant protection to fierce obsession, and the tension between them hums through every chapter.
What really stood out to me was how layered the stakes felt. This isn’t just a romance unfolding in the shadows of crime. Trafficking rings collapsing, law enforcement closing in, and the pressure on the Caravelli empire creates a constant sense that the ground could give way beneath them at any moment. The secret marriage, forged in chaos and loyalty, adds another level of intensity that keeps the pages turning.
Caterina is far from helpless, which I loved. She’s determined, resilient, and refuses to disappear quietly into Enzo’s world. Watching her step into that power alongside him was one of the most satisfying parts of the story.
The only reason this lands at 4 stars instead of a full five for me is that a few moments felt slightly rushed compared to the rich tension built elsewhere. I found myself wishing for just a little more breathing room in some of the emotional beats.
Still, this book is addictive. Dark, intense, and packed with high-stakes romance, Sinful Oath delivers a mafia love story where loyalty is deadly and devotion is absolute. If you love powerful antiheroes, dangerous alliances, and romance born in the middle of a war, this one will absolutely pull you in.

4⭐ ARC Review 'Sinful Oath'

🌹 Forced Proximity
🌹 He Falls First
🌹 Mafia Romance
🌹 Corrupted System
🌹 Action / Bloodshed
🌹 Trafficking
🌹 Trauma / Healing

When our FMC Caterina flees her arranged marriage to a brutal man, she ends up fighting for her life. In-steps our MMC Enzo with his loyal men to serve bloodshed and take Caterina to his estate.
He see's something in her fight, her survival and of course she is breathtakingly beautiful.
Feelings he hasn't felt in a long time.
Caterina doesn't want to be caged again. Her life barted away for her, without choice.
But she unexpectedly feels safer with Enzo,
he gives her truth and patience, he gives her choice.
Enzo, has unexpectedly became the heir. Uncovering the most hainess and corrupted business ventures within his families inheritance.

This read was very descriptive, lyrical and found it was written well.
Action packed and with plots of bloodshed.
A corrupted system and the take down of the human trafficking web. Of healing and trauma, loyalty and lies. There are darker themes in relation, so please check your triggers.
I enjoyed all these characters, Caterina with her fierceness, Enzo's softer, loving side. Marcello with his witty banter and of course Bianca the protective badass. Together this family would bleed to the death for one another. To right wrongs of the past, to do what's right for the future. Fighting an unjust system that sets to bring them all down.
Towards the end I was finding the read quite repetitive and I was looking for a bit more towards the ending, though overall I enjoyed this read and hope to see more in this world.

I'm going to tell you that if you love Mafia you need to read this. This author did an amazing job of sucking me in and she wouldn't let me come out for air I was having like the most horrific emotional meltdown and reading my Arc read and by far this was what kept me from my spiral. It kept me in my headspace of breathe, relax using my coping skills of reading to kind of get me out of my headspace to really think about what my life was like right that and there but too basically have her suck me in when I'm struggling emotionally and draw me in and make me ask questions and make me be like what just happened. I mean there were parts where it was a bit of a tougher read for me because of the way it was written. But for the most part like it kept my attention it held my attention. I read it in one day. I even took a nap in between the two sections because I didn't really sweep the night before. But if it wasn't for not sleeping and needing a nap, I would have read it in one setting and probably two and a half to 3 hours. This book was extremely well written and the characters you. You just kind of get drawn to them and you're like what about this character? I need to know more about this character. Does this character get a book? What's going to happen next? I was sucked in like when I say I was sucked in I was sucked in sucked in like I couldn't put it down. Especially once the bomb dropped in the middle that I wasn't expecting I was like. So just be prepared for that moment of what the hell.

Sinful Oath begins on a seemingly small scale. Caterina’s family agrees to an arranged marriage to Tommaso Vitelli, a ruthless man who thrives on control and taking what matters most to others. Refusing to accept this fate, Caterina walks out of her own engagement party. When Tommaso’s men pursue her into Caravelli territory, Enzo, the Caravelli heir, steps in and rescues her from an assault.

From that moment, everything escalates. The chemistry, the violence, the stakes. At one point, I thought the story was nearing its conclusion, only to realize I wasn’t even halfway through and there was still so much more to come.

Enzo and Caterina are perfectly matched as a couple. Both have a clear sense of their boundaries and how far they are willing to go to protect the people they love. Rather than weakening each other, they draw strength from their partnership.

Enzo’s siblings, Bianca and Marcello, were highlights for me, bringing welcome humor and personality to the story.

The action scenes are written with vivid clarity, making it easy to picture every moment without becoming overly long or repetitive.

If you enjoy mafia romance that pulls no punches and keeps raising the stakes, this one is well worth the read. I’m already looking forward to the next instalment.

Thank you to B. Wills and Golden Light Publishing House for the digital ARC.

This story started with Caterina running from her engagement… and ended somewhere I never could have predicted.

Enzo’s intense affection for Caterina is immediate and overwhelming . He doesn’t hide how he feels, and that kind of devotion is powerful. He was patient because he wanted to maintain his honor. He never rushed anything with her, even when things around them began to change.

The plot went far deeper than I expected. What began as one situation slowly unraveled into a tangled web that kept expanding. Every layer revealed something new. And the side characters weren’t just background noise. Each of them had a purpose and played a necessary role in moving the story forward. Nothing felt forced. Everyone’s involvement mattered.

And no matter who it was, Enzo protected them all the same. That level of loyalty and dedication says everything about his character.
Now I’m left needing to know what happens and how they handle the next stage. Because if this book proved anything, it’s that nothing is ever simple.

She is already undoing me. Unraveling me seam by seam. And I am allowing it.

The slow burn will have you throwing the book at the wall (or in my case, my phone), I just wanna get that out my chest. The girls over at Golden Light Publishing are the QUEENS of epic cliffhangers and plot twists and Sinful Oath was not the exception. I loved how this book was very centered on family comes first, and I especially LOVE LOVE LOVEEE how Enzo does not intimidate to having a strong independent woman by his side, but fully stands by her, supports her and lets her shine completely on her own. I love how Caterina learned to grow into her own power and absolutely embraced it. I especially love how she does not shy away from saying exactly what she's thinking and does not hold back. I love how Marcello, despite his carefree image, fiercely protects his family, while Bianca goes to any length to keep them safe. With that being said, ma'am, how dare you give me what's a happy ending 70% in only to give me an epic plot twist and have to go through another round of nail biting before the end of the book?! I shall bill you for a new nail set, humph....

p.s. the sexy hunky mafia boss speaking Italian was absolute chef's kiss and made me swoon.

Did i just screeeeeam at the last page? Yes, because it can't be over not yet, I was not ready for it to be done!

This one had me in tears multiple times!

Caterina knew she didn't want to get married but she had no clue that what she did want was about to save her from that marriage....and MUCH more!

Twisty. Dark. The romance was on point! Found family in the best sense! I am WHOLLY obsessed with Mafia Romance now because of B! And I NEED the next installment ASAP!

I'm action loving girlie and this book was action packed! The soft moments were written in such perfection that I was either giggling like I was actually there, trying to hold back tears, crying or smiling so hard I know I looked crazy to my family lol.

This one is very deep, hits on very touchy subjects and is one h_ll of a ride--literally from page one to the last page.
Caterina, Bianca, Enzo & Marcello are such a phenomenal group of characters. B did her thing with bring this story to life.

I highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

She ran from an arranged marriage her
family had already promised and
planned for her,
only to find herself in territory
she was never meant to enter.
He vows to protect her
and keep her safe, no matter the cost.
But that promise starts a war
between two equally dangerous men
The one hunting her and the one
who swore to protect her, who might
be just as dangerous and more feared
Together they uncover an evil
far bigger than they ever imagined.
It runs deeper and reaches higher
involving powerful players who claim to protect you
When in reality they may be the worst of them all.
And with the FBI closing in, the pressure is building.
The question is -can they win a war like this?
Because when it comes to family there are no limits.
He will do whatever it takes to protect his family.
And she will too. She’s fierce. Cross her family
and see if you make it out alive.Family is everything.
And they are a force to be reckoned with.

Sinful Oath by B. Wills is a lyrical and well-written descent into a dark world where loyalty is the only currency. The story follows Caterina Marchetti as she escapes a forced marriage only to fall into the orbit of Enzo Caravelli, a ruthless mafia king who is completely undone by her presence. Their relationship evolves from reluctant protection to a fierce obsession, set against a high-stakes backdrop of collapsing trafficking rings and a corrupt legal system. Watching the Caravelli family—including the witty Marcello and badass Bianca—fight an unjust system while protecting their own is incredibly satisfying, especially as they transition from forced proximity to genuine devotion. While the ending felt slightly repetitive and some emotional beats were rushed, the descriptive writing and a massive mid-book twist keep the pages turning. This is a powerful exploration of healing, trauma, and absolute devotion that will leave you wondering which member of this protective family gets a standalone story next.

This is an absolute must read for anyone who is looking for a great mafia romance. So, it is very hard to really grab my attention at the beginning of a book and I’m here to tell you this book grabbed me from Chapter 1 and didn’t let go. It was such a good read I had a hard time putting it down. I felt all the emotions in this book and so much more. When I finished it left me begging for more. A lot of mafia romance books kind of have a way to them that you can kind of guess what is going to happen next well not with this one. B is a very talented author and has such a very of bringing her characters to life to where you can picture them as the story goes along. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

ARC REVIEW
I am constantly amazed at how well B Wills sucks you into her books.
I haven't been a dark romance reader for very long and it is fast becoming one of my favourite genres. With B Wills you dont just get a good book. you get a fully imersive experience, I guess having adhd helps with how I read but with B the love of the book isn't just intellectual its emotional and raw.

Enzo or as I lovingly call him (Mr sexybum) is my latest obsession.
the way B has written him is perfect. the right amount of emotional vulnerability coated in an armour of touch my stuff if you dare energy.

Caterina is everything you live about a B Wills leading lady. shes strong, confident, rough around the edges and sassy as hell.

but its not just the main characters you'll love, everyone of the characters in this book has their own energy and they command the page equally.
I can't wait for book 2 to be ready.

Mafia romance that is done right. Strong FMC that grows as the story progresses. Obsessed mmc that isn't overbearing in his protection and is emotionally involved.

Plot and story over straight smut like so many others I've tied to read over the past few years. Don't get me wrong I love a good mafia smut but I need context and story not just pointless steam.

B does a wonderful job of putting the story first while the steam is respectful and filled with purpose to drive the story forward. It isn't thrown in just to be there. The characters are relatable, well rounded, and easy to picture. Everything flows seamlessly and you turn the last page before you're ready to say goodbye. You think you know where the story is going and suddenly she throws you a twist you never see coming. I loved the twists. I love that while they don't always spell things out between themselves they still communicate and respect the other.

A Caravelli Mafia Romance

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5 stars)

This book had me hooked from page one. The storyline is gripping with twists, turns, danger, and of course the romance that keeps you turning pages late into the night.

Enzo and Caterina quickly became two of my favorite characters.
Enzo — our sexy new Don — takes over the family after his father, only to uncover operations within the organization that he refuses to accept. Trying to change things shakes his entire world.

Caterina is a fierce, loyal, and resilient FMC. She’s strong, beautiful, and a true survivor, making her the perfect match for Enzo.

What you’ll find inside:
• Forced proximity
• He falls first
• Morally grey MMC
• Corruption at the highest levels
• Trafficking rings
• Survivor FMC
• Trauma and healing

⚠️ Check your triggers before diving in.

Add this one to your TBR immediately — it releases 7 March 2026 and I’m already impatient for the next book in the series.

Caterina, our FMC, escapes a parental plot to marry her off for their protection and financial gain. She ran straight into a rival's district knowing she would at least have a chance at survival. Enter Enzo, our MMC, who saves her that night and installs her in his home for her safety and to have a bargaining chip. These two were made for each other and as the story unfolds, we get to see just how much they balance each other out. Enzo becomes "Don". As he his unraveling his family business from speedier aspects, he encounters something so deplorable that once it's undone with put his family in jeopardy. It's not rival houses he needs to worry about it's much bigger then that. With his brother Marcello and sister Bianca along with help from a local detective, will they be able to unravel it all and stay alive? I love these characters and the interaction between them is outstanding. I can't wait for more in this series!

This woman could write a textbook and I'd read it!!! I love how complex and deep this book went. It wasnt just about familial ties and finding love and maybe some mafia issues thrown in. It was a conspiracy. It was war. It was true justice that is beginning. Enzo and Caterina's story is the catalyst to whatever comes next. They choose their war and will fight for what is true. They may be a little twisted and not exactly the good guys but there's always worse. Caterina is a complex character. She may have started off a bit timid but she was always a queen. She is fire and rage. Justice and righteousness. Enzo only helped her see that about herself. She was never a doll or pawn to be bartered. She was a weapon in disguise. While I love Enzo, I adore Caterina and Bianca and the other strong women. The men were just the frills and filler. The women were the story and the foundation!! I can't wait for whatever is next for this family.

I was fortunate enough to be provided with an arc read of Sinful Oath by B Wills!

The story begins and ends in chaos with chaos in between! Sinful Oath hooks you from the beginning and just when you think it’s approaching some stability all hell breaks loose again! When I got to the middle of the book, I thought, “there’s too much of it left, where is this going to go?” The story keeps you guessing at what could possibly happen next!

I love the way the story depicts the italian mafia culture and the ties into organized crime and how far corruption can go. No one is safe!! I live Caterina’s story arc because at first glance she is depicted as this timid girl who got lucky being saved when really she’s this bad ass with a back story. Of course, I love Enzo too and the way he changed the course of what his family is known for. The spice doesn’t hurt either!!

Can’t wait to continue in this world!

This was a gripping book that kept me guessing. I read it in around 24 hours so it was definitely one I enjoyed. I loved Catarina and Enzo both individually and as a couple. There was a perfect blend of romance and violence which is a necessary balance for a mafia romance. The supporting characters (namely Marcello and Bianca) were well developed and are well suited for their own books in the series. There were a few tiny things that kept it from being a five star read in my book. The timeline on this felt very rushed making it almost hard to believe (the pacing was great but the time frame it supposedly took place in seemed too quick). I also think Catarina’s family wasn’t well addressed (they had no response to her ending her engagement/no info on their role in the NYC mafia) but there is still room for that to be addressed in future installments and I hope it is. I definitely want to continue the series and see where it goes. 4 well earned stars!

Thank you to Golden Light Publishing for the gifted eARC.

As someone who absolutely loves mafia romances, Sinful Oath was exactly the kind of book I enjoy. The story pulls you straight into the dangerous and intense world of the Caravelli family, where loyalty, power, and passion collide.
The chemistry between the main characters is strong from the beginning, and the tension between love and the brutal reality of mafia life keeps the story engaging. I really enjoyed how the author balanced the darker elements of the mafia world with emotional moments and undeniable attraction between the characters.
If you enjoy mafia romance with powerful characters, high stakes, and plenty of drama, Sinful Oath is definitely worth the read. I’m excited to see where the rest of the House of Caravelli series goes next.

The suspense. From start to finish. This one kept me on the edge of my seat! A dark romance, with plot and spice.

Talk about a MMC that will burn the world down for her... THIS story gives you that.

The tension, waiting... then the HEAT. 🔥
The way he worships her? 🫶 The spice is written beautifully.

Whats so enjoyable about B's writing, is that even though this is dark romance, she describes the scene in such a way that you're pulled into the story. Descriptive writing is my favorite.

Absolutely love the brother and sister. Marcellus cracks me up. I hope he gets his own book! And Bianca is fierce, a force to be reckoned with.

THE ENDING. 😈

Sinful Oath: A Caravelli Mafia Romance by B.
Wills is a deliciously dark, fast paced mafia romance packed with tension, loyalty, and forbidden desire. The chemistry between the leads is intense from the start, and the emotional stakes only get higher as secrets and power plays unravel. I loved the blend of danger and vulnerability beneath the ruthless exterior, there's a surprisingly tender love story. If you're a fan of possessive heroes, strong heroines, and high stakes romance with plenty of heat, this one is definitely worth the read.

This is a mafia romance with Caterina and Enzo. She was destined to marry a different man, but ot was all wrong. When she’s attacked in Enzo’s territory, he takes her and their story builds. There are so many twists and turns in this story and it’s never what you think. So good! I especially enjoyed Enzo’s brother Marcelo. It’s impressive that one character can be a protective Labrador who’s also a goofy idiot. He may have been my favorite in the book.
