They were childhood sweethearts who planned to grow old together. Until one day the unthinkable happened and they went in separate directions. It was something she never recovered from, allowing it to taint her future. For a decade she was bitter, haunted by the past and not trusting anyone apart from one person. He hadn’t been able to tell her the truth. Bars and cuffs had been in his future, and he couldn’t drag her down with him. When his fate played out differently than what he’d expected it was too late, the damage had been done. For years he wandered through life with little purpose, until he found a brotherhood of men who gave him purpose. She’d become what she’d dreamed of. A respected RN who could work anywhere. The one state she avoided was South Dakota; she’d no intention of returning. Until an accident brought her home and into his path again. Full of hate and determined to keep him far away, it appears fate had other plans for her. He was shocked to see her again. She’d haunted his dreams and was now back. He wanted her back, but she had more prickles than a hedgehog. Until she walks into trouble and he’s there to defend her. Can they build a new future or is the past too much to overcome?
I was born in 1974 in Dagenham, Essex, England! I moved out of Essex in 2002 and moved to South Yorkshire and then settled in Derbyshire in 2005.
I've got four sons, one daughter and seven cats! I'm still working out who is more trouble, the children or cats! My children and I love cooking together, movie nights and music.
I've written stories ever since I was thirteen but I never had the courage to publish one before. But we all know the famous song... This is me, from the Greatest Showman. It gave me courage to Indie publish and be myself! Never under estimate the power of a good song!
My favourite holiday is Halloween and I'm known as the crazy lady in my street when Halloween hits! My love of Halloween even carries over to Christmas when, alongside my big "normal" tree I also have a Jack Skeleton tree!
My favourite movies vary, Star Wars, LOTR, Pirate Movie, Amazing Mr Blunden, Phantom of the Opera, Memphis Belle., finally Olympus/London has Fallen. Music depends on my mood, country, pop, classical, even bagpipes!
Rage MC is the first series I've Indie published and lots more Rage MC books will follow. I have several other series' I'm working on as well. So you will be getting a lot more Elizabeth N Harris Books! If you have any questions please check out my website and use the contact page to contact me in a variety of ways!
God forbid a woman be allowed to move on from a man who cheated on her. I really wish authors would stop writing and idolising celibate heroines who stay faithful to a hero (or can’t possibly move on from them) who would never even dare think of doing the same. Only the hero is allowed to fuck others and have himself a good time; the heroine has to stay frozen/bitter/angry/hurt, unable and unwilling to move past a man who didn’t think she was worth it.
If the hero isn’t intelligent enough to come up with another way to get the heroine to go back to college (he cheated for her own good, don’t you know? 🙄), then he’s not worth anyone’s time.

No rating. This was a mess. The writing made absolutely no sense. The MMCs are adults that acted like elementary school children. Thing's happened out of the blue like a child falling out of a tree in the middle of the night. How? Where did that come from? Prospects picking on each other for who didn't pick up paints off the floor. They're in their thirties. Exactly how long has the H been prospecting for this MC? It seemed like years. Like I said he's in his thirties yet everyone talks to him like he's 2. Then you have the dreaded celibate h for ten years. Biggest issue besides the writing being jarring and making no sense is the author is obviously British, but her story takes place in America. We're not meeting for tea. Nor are we shattered when tired. And we don't fancy things. Anyways, I definitely can not recommend this. It needs editing like you wouldn't believe. But I think the worst thing in this book is the h comparing the H breaking up with her and then sleeping with her bff to a patient of her's whose daughter was kidnapped, trafficked, raped countless times, beat etc. because you know they're exactly the same thing. 🙄 Yeah, she knows what that feels like. 🙄
Harlequin is the second book in Elizabeth N Harris’ Hellfire MC Prospects series. It is a good read for the ones of us who are the fans of Elizabeth’s MC series as we get to hang out with our old favorites and see how they are managing (or not managing) to be parents. I have to say I do not remember a lot of Harlequin in previous books so his story so I got to read his story with new eyes. I have to say I hate when the men take decisions for us as if we are feeble but the reality is though that it does happen way too often in the real life so absolutely I can see it happening with the young buck like Harlequin. I also understand the resentment April had towards him and how that resentment grew over the years and yes, one could think like why the hell was she so hung up on him but again, how many of us have experienced exactly the same thing in our lives. Thank you Elizabeth for giving me couple of hours to get away from what is happening in our world right now and I cannot wait to see what Jinx’ story will be (I know next one is probably Smokey and Teagan but one can always hope).
The Hellfire Prospects are proving to be as good as the original series! All our favorite characters from the series are in the storyline. He breaks her heart, and years later, she returns to town. What I liked about the plot line is that April is no pushover. In too many books, the h forgives the H really quickly. In Harlequin, Beth explores April's journey through forgiveness. And Harlequin realizes explanations are easily seen as an excuse. He has to work through just what his actions did to April and finally understands WHY what he did was wrong. As always, Beth lays the ground for future plot lines. It looks like Smokey and Jinx will be featured soon in future Hellfire MC: Prospects books.
So the story was good. The characters not so much. I did not like the FMC at all. She was just very cold and unfeeling. With being a nurse. She was never redeemed. Our MMC was better than her until she thinks he is cheating and he flips out. Umm hello did you not remember all you did? She can’t just act like nothing ever happen. And his sister was a nasty one too. Didn’t like her so I hope to not read a book about her. Love Jinx right now!!! I can’t wait for his book. I hope the next book is good because so far I did not like these first 2 books. Fanatic was so cheated in his with Williow. He deserved so much better than her. I was so upset that I didn’t even finish. Please give us a better FMC!!!
These Hellfire ladies get put through the ringer before they find their men and April is no exception.
April and Stone/Harlequin have history, there’s a lot of pain and anger between them. I appreciated the way this story doesn’t downplay the hurt caused or the reaction to it, even a decade later.
It was refreshing to see Harlequin working his day job outside of his prospect duties. I love a man who can sniff out the bad guy and pick up on cues that other people miss.
There’s a lot going on in this story, and not all of the puzzle pieces have been fit together yet, I’m looking forward to the next Hellfire story; I hope it’s Jinx!
This one was just ok for me, mostly because I didn't really like Harlequin or April, more so April. I thought April came off as such a bitch! I get that she had issues with how Harlequin ended things in the past. His explanation of the "why" was stupid boy logic, but it annoyed me that she kept bringing up cheating. He didn't cheat, they were done at that point. The back and forth between them drove me nuts!
The highlight in this one for me was Jinx. It has made me really like him more than I did and look forward to seeing more of him.
April was left bitter and full of resentment after Harlequin cheated to free her from him and the fate he beleived was ahead, but life went different and by the time he could tell April the truth she was gone, having avoided home she could no longer when an accident brings her home and into Harlequins sight, but can he prove himself worthy. The story is engaging, the characters work well. The author has been quiet unwell recently and the family have been doing their all to get the book out and keep her work going. So full credit to them and Beth.
The book was just ok. Has the very predictable miscommunication trope on both sides, two thirds of the book April thinks she's fat and unattractive and miraculously at the end she thinks she's all that, but not in a believable way. I would have normally not even slightly liked the book but this author somehow makes the book me binge-able, even if the storyline and plot sucks - and that's the case here.
That was pretty good but it feels like it's unfinished and there's a few unanswered questions. I'm really worried about jinx after what happened toward the end. But can harlequin get his head out of ass 2 convince her about what and why he did things that way when they were younger? What she did was really good despite what she went through in the present. I can't wait 4 more!!
Elizabeth Harris writes such awesome stories about a huge and loving family. A family born of love rather than blood. I have been waiting to read the prospects' stories, and here they come! I love Harlequin's story of finding and losing his one. There are a few triggers, so check the warnings, and enjoy the read!!!
I love this series but I hated April a lot. I get it. She was destroyed when stone broke up and “cheated” but 10 years of being miserable and not trusting any man is just over the top. Also was annoyed that the stalker didn’t get an ending nor the creepy doc or psycho nurse

Wow!! What an amazing book in the Hellfire MC world. The author once again showed us how great a writer she is. Harlequin & April finally get their second chance.
Desperate times and all that, Stone decides to force April away. In misguided protection of what could happen. Leap forward 10 years and they both come meet Karma. April unfortunately becomes the victim of chance and Stone sees blood.
Harlequin past comes back to town and it's time for him to face the truth in regards to his ex April. April goes threw hell in this book but there is a HEA we hope. The hero of this book in this readers opinion is Jinx and I can't wait to read his story.
Enjoyed the book love Jinx can’t wait until he gets patched in. Just feel like he has a big heart. Thank you for your amazing words and all the different worlds you create for us your readers. Positivity for you
Whew, April can sure hold a grudge, if she still didn't love him, she wouldn't be so mad and cruel. Harlequin is at a loss. There's danger from every angle. I'm concerned about Jinx and curious about his secret. HEA.
This book is full of mystery, intrigue, and heart-wrenching emotion. Harlequin & April's journey is heartbreaking, but can they overcome their pasts? Harlequin knows what he wants, and he is not afraid to pull out all the stops to go get it. Your characters come alive as I read their stories. Every time I finish one, I can't wait to start the next one. Each addition to this series just gets even more amazing.
This book was so good. Some of my favorite characters were in this story. Its like visiting with old friends. I doesn't matter what book Elizabeth writes it is always wonderful. She has a wonderful way of telling a story.
This was a great book. I love reading about the prospects. They have wonderful stories too! I love reading all of your books. I really enjoy your work.
Another fabulous read from Elizabeth, I absolutely loved and enjoyed reading Harlequin and April’s story ❤️❤️❤️ They have struggled to get back together and I believe they will have more to deal with. Their love story is beautiful. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
