Too Grumpy for Cupid: A Valentine Second Chance Romance
The man who broke her heart just flew back into her life.
An archer. A pilot. An elevator in free fall.
When a terrifying elevator malfunction forces Tansy Cooper and Chance Lewis into the dark together, the truth they never faced comes out—and so do the feelings she swore she buried.
Tansy Cooper doesn’t have time for love—or for the dangerously charming helicopter pilot who once walked away and left her heart in pieces. She’s built a steady life rooted in family, horses, and a community that depends on her strength, and she’s not willing to risk that peace for anyone.
Chance Lewis didn’t come home to relive the past. He came back to make things right. But when fate traps them together in a moment neither of them can escape, the distance between them begins to crumble. Old wounds resurface, unspoken words finally find air, and Tansy is forced to confront the one thing she fears trusting her heart again.
Set against the backdrop of small-town Tennessee and a Valentine-season charity that means everything to her, Too Grumpy for Cupid is a slow-burn, second-chance romance about forgiveness, faith, and the courage it takes to love again—when walking away feels safer than staying.

put your heart in God’s hands
Two people separated by a bad choice on his part, kept apart by her choice made in fear. A beautiful story of love, trust in God and learning to trust in love again.

Review of advance copy
Too Grumpy for Cupid surprised me.
I expected a fun, trope-filled romance, but what I got was a story with action, tension, and unexpected twists that mattered to the plot.
The pacing is fantastic. Just when I thought I knew where things were headed, the story pivoted in a way that felt earned. The action scenes kept me turning pages, but it was the emotional undercurrent that really stayed with me. I felt like I could relate in some ways.
There’s also a strong theme of heart awareness woven throughout—handled with care and authenticity.
This book balances romance, adrenaline, and heart in a way that feels fresh and intentional. If you love stories with sharp dialogue, meaningful twists, and a romance that grows under pressure, this one is absolutely worth picking up.

This was a very fast paced second chance romance story. Tansy had her heart broken by Chance but now he's back for good and she has to decide whether to give him another shot.
It's an easy, sweet read but not particularly gripping.
Also, I personally didn't like the narrator and found the strong accent distracting and sometimes difficult to understand, particularly when they attempted to do a male voice for other characters.
Overall, this was good but nothing special.

I enjoyed this read! It was fun, fast paced, lots happening, but it was all relative to the story. It's got laughter, and honesty, and horses, and forgiveness. great second chance romance. And it's clean. I am passing it off to my high schooler and her friends.

This is a sweet, clean and faith based story that is also a roller coaster ride. This one is about Tansy, Chance and second chances. This is such a good story. It is not overly long and is very captivating. The narration is nicely done, really bring the characters and their story to life.

This book was full of laughter, love, and sweetness. I love a good second chance romance. Tansy and Chance are adorable together. They were such real characters. Their story had tension and drama and above all it had love. Everything in it had me captivated from the first line to the last. It honestly was so touching that he stayed and supported her through her own struggles. And the audio portrayed the emotions and tensions in the story very well. All in all definitely worth a read or a listen. However you prefer to consume a book.
