Talking to dead people is commonplace for her. Devlin and Olivia are a different couple, not what I was expecting for our computer geek. Their story is good and i love the way it all ties everyone together. I hope their will be more stories, especially with Melissa and Robert. That's gonna be interesting. Good series, great characters and interesting storylines. Check out the whole series, you'll enjoy all of them .
Another wonderful story in this series. Book 2 is still my favorite but I really enjoyed this book. I love several things about this series. First, most of the names are pretty common and easy to remember, which is sometimes difficult for me when there’s a lot of characters. Second, even though there’s a big variety of paranormal beings and magic, this series is well written and easy to follow. Third, there’s a big variety of paranormal beings and magic. lol This story was so much fun. It’s so entertaining watching these sexy men lose their minds whenever their mates don’t fall into their “place” as expected. The characters are all snarky, seriously protective and sexy. They banter between them is hilarious. The chemistry as well as the camaraderie, even between the different species, is fantastic. Once again, Jonathan Waters gives us a stellar performance. Sometimes I forget there’s only one narrator doing this entire series. From a Texan’s accent, to Scottish, to female characters, he absolutely brilliant. I hope there are more books coming in this series, there’s so many characters that need their own story, including a few dragons we met in the prequel. This is book 3 with an HEA and can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend this book/series.
Book 3 in this series is the story of Devlin, the third wolf shifter brother who instantly finds his mate on the side of the road when her car breaks down, and Olivia, who enjoys a happy life with nice clothes, manicures, freedom to do as she choices while helping ghosts that are lonely or lost. In her line of work, talking to dead people is all in a day's work and quite normal but when she meets Devlin who claims to be her mate and a werewolf, her mind is blown away. This is a fun, action filled story with werewolves, witches, shifters, good and evil Fae, and so much more, that keeps you engaged, laughing and on the edge of your seat as the two work together to send an evil ghost with a darkened soul to the fate that awaits him.
Jonathan Waters, the narrator, continues to deliver a delightful, funny and depth filled vocal performance as he brings both the characters and story line to life.
Highly recommend this most enjoyable Contemporary Paranormal Romance series. Best to start at the beginning with Book 1 so you get the full experience.
I received a free audible copy and voluntarily give my honest review.
The Wolf Creek series follows three werewolf brothers who each find their soulmates, one per book. When Olivia’s car breaks down, Devlin rescues her. Devlin can tell something’s different about her, but he is unaware that she can see and talk with ghosts whom she helps usher into their afterlife. Unfortunately, the ghost of a serial killer does not want to leave. Although this isn’t the supernatural romance series for me, I think this third book is the best so far, Jo Ellen’s voice and writing style have improved with each book but still has a ways to go - the story still lack complexity and the characters lack depth. Audio narrator Jonathan Waters voices the males as deep and growly and the females as sassy live-wires.
I had purchased a "pack" (heh) of the first 3 books. If I had not purchased the pack, I wouldn't have continued past book one. The writing was very choppy and self-explanatory. I skimmed the first one due to the writing, and thought I would do the same w/book 2 & 3 since I had them.
Pleasantly surprised that in these next two books she was beginning to find her voice, as they were starting to flow. Still has a way to go with typos and such, but I have no doubt if she went back and wrote book one again, it would be much improved. I won't continue with this series, but glad to see the growth in storytelling.
Devin found his mate stranded by a broken down car but was she all there? She claimed to see and talk to ghosts. Really? Olivia could talk to ghosts and help them go on to the next plane. She had the spirit of Jack following her but he couldn't remember anything. Willie, a ghost demon tried to take her power. Twists and turns and lots of fun create a great story.
If you are looking for a story with laughter interspersed with sexy times then Wolf Creek Ghosts by Jo Ellen is the book to pick up. It is third in the Texas Pack series and while characters from previous stories make an appearance it can be read as a standalone. You will fall in love with Olivia as much as I did. She sees dead people, I mean she really does, and the best part is she has conversations with them, out loud. Trying to watch her cover up when she forgets others not only can’t see the ghosts but also can’t hear them was worth quite a few giggles. She was such a girly girl and according to Devlin a few screws short of a full load, but I loved that Ms. Ellen made her strong willed and courageous. She was used to people thinking poorly of her and while she wasn’t completely comfortable within her own skin, she was comfortable being a work in process. I loved that Ms. Ellen lead her to a town where she wasn’t the strangest thing walking within the town limits. Ms. Ellenbrought back two kick-ass female characters who understood what it meant to be different and both were willing to share their knowledge and friendship. Devlin was equally compelling. His mate was crazy but he didn’t care. He would love her and care for her to the best of his ability. I loved that Ms. Ellen allowed Devlin to fall even as she didn’t leave Olivia out on that ledge by herself. Devlin quickly learned that things were not as they appeared and he rolled pretty well with the punches. I laughed, I cried and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I am sure that once you pick up Ms. Ellen’s story you will too!
I read the first two books in this series but did not like the third as much. It's a little too spiritual for me. We have already met the pack and the two newest mates in books one and two, and here we meet mate three for the last brother. This woman's only special power is to see ghosts. Unlike the two previous books, the bad guy is already here, but the woman's power is the key to fighting him. Something about this book was not as captivating as the first two. That's OK, I'm done with this author. She shows absolute contempt for her paying customers by not even bothering to use a free grammar checker before placing her product on sale. Doesn't she have anyone who can proofread? I marked over 25 mistakes with possessives, commas, and homonyms.
#3 is Devlin's book. When he meets Olivia, he gets knocked back a step. He was not expecting to meet his mate any time soon. The Queen of Faery had other ideas, though, and sets Olivia right in his path. It was fun watching the jokester of the family finally meet his match. Jo Ellen combines all the elements I love--romance, shifters, fun and hot sexy scenes! I also love that I got to "see" all the previous characters from the two previous books She combines all of this with a dangerous "killer" on the loose. I look forward to the other books following this one.
Delvin and. Olivia have a great story. I love the idea that she helps ghost move on. This series never ceases to amaze. The abilities of the mates are so unique. The way all the different supernatural beings come together is awesome. I can't wait till Hi Ellen finishes the next story. (I am so grateful Jo Ellen is recovering from her illness. May she continue to grow stronger and more healthy everyday.) I hope Robert and Melissa's book is released soon. I wouldn't mind No all having his own book too. Hint hint.
All of the Texas Pack series was awesome. I love how she brought the characters to life. They were all woven together but all had individual back stories. I hope she continues on with both Robert and Niall(I hope I spelled that right, but probably not. LOL) I would also like to see both David's and Chase's stories.
Wolf Creek Ghosts (Texas Pack 3) (Wolf Creek Shapeshifters)

I love reading the stories of the Texas pack Wolfcreek Pack and I hope that the next one the next book will not take as long as the third one did . Love your books Jo keep writing them please thank you.
This is the 3 book involving the shifters of Wolf Creek Texas. Finally the youngest brother meets his mate. I enjoyed reading these books. Check this out for yourself.
These books keep getting better and better. With each new book the writing has improved. I can't wait to find out about the other characters in the series.
Love this series I don't know how many books the author has planned for this series but I certainly hope there is a lot more. She has created a world that is just wonderful.
This third installment was much easier to read and get lost in. I didn't notice any grammatical errors, and the dialog seemed to flow better. I live indie authors and I am glad to see Jo Ellen find her entertainment voice.
