This is a YA psychological thriller novella about a young girl named Sage who has dreams of people drowning, all of which come true shortly thereafter, and a young man named Marlow with a mysterious undisclosed past, who wants to help Sage.

The author is brilliant, the story fantastic, the characters well developed, the tension palpable, the plot good. However, I hate cliffhangers, and the ending made me mad. People should not sell books separately if they are only meant to be read together. Three stars.

This is book 2 in the Nursery Rhymes Suspense Series, "starring" Sage and Marlow, and I'm LOVING it! Taking place after the action in both book 1 and the added novelette "I Spy With My Little Eye", the action this time revolves around Sage's dreams about people drowning - dreams which come true. Sage and Marlow are also sharing dreams about each other - dreams about what happened in book 1, which Sage shouldn't remember - and the dreams bring them together to try and solve why people are dying, and do it before Sage becomes the next victim!
I'm really enjoying this series of books, and they're a really great read. I'd definitely recommend them to any adults who likes their murder-mystery thrillers with a twist, and though you need to read them in correct order for them to make complete sense in all their details (but could read out of order if you don't mind them not making absolute sense in the smaller details!), that won't be a hardship as they're excellently written, very addictive, and a brilliant read: I read them all from beginning to end without stopping! I can't wait to carry on with the series. Highly recommended!!
NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions

Kindle Unlimited, but I received it free somewhere for the first 2 then went on to KU to get the A Nursery Rhyme Suspense - Books 1-3: A Marlow and Sage Mystery Thriller set which include GINGERBREAD MAN then LIFE IS BUT A DREAM then HICKORY DICKORY DOCK With the multiple viewpoints and characters mixed in with variable 'time' {multiple versions of people, sorta, read the book} was a bit confusing at times, but overall enjoyed it. Twinkle Little Star: A Marlow and Sage Mystery Thriller (A Nursery Rhyme Suspense Book 4). I Spy with My Little Eye is short story with these characters, only available to her subscribers.

I received this book from the author and decided to review.

This is book 1 in the Nursery Rhyme Suspense series. Marlow and Sage are having the same premonitory dreams of people drowning in the canal. Marlow tries to convince Sage that they have worked together in parallel universes. Sage is not convinced. Sage is still reeling from the death of her best friend and roommate, Teagan. Sage's brother insists that she join a support group. The doctor who runs it is very free with drug samples. The support group must not be working very well because three of the participants have died by drowning presumed to be suicides.

If you like YA suspense with some sci-fi overtones, this book may be right for you.

Really cool! Have gotten me hooked! Especially at the end which had me rushing to open the second part of the series. I like Marlow, he is cute!
The story is said from mainly by Sage and Marlow's POVs. Sage dreaming about drowning people which really happened was cool in the sense she could predict what will happen. Though at the time she didn't knew.
Are they suicides? But people comitting suicides in the same way at same place mmm... I don't think so!
Excited to know who or what is behind everything.

The first episode is very well written. I have my own suspicion of who the bad guy/gal is but I don't want to say right now.
