Story was excellent but there were many detail mistakes and blatant contradictions. It was badly in need of editing so couldn’t rank it higher. There was zero spice in this book which was disappointing ascwell as it definitely would have added to the plot. Kirill is a mafia pakhan who rules with an iron fist. When he thinks one of his men Boris betrayed him by stealing he executes him in the mud and is supposed to execute his daughter Nadia also since rules are u wipe out the bloodline. But he can’t do it so he kidnaps her, collars her and holds her in a holding cell with nothing where he uses her nudity to shame and humiliate her. But he’s feeling possessive of her too and finds it hard to punish her. Nadia becomes mute from fear and trauma and knows her father was set up but the real traitor keeps threatening her and without her voice she can’t tell what she knows. She tries using art to convey secrets but Kirill doesn’t see. As they get closer the traitor continues to plant evidence against her which causes Kirill to torture her further until finally things happen to come to an explosive conclusion. Events happen Nadia is nearly completely broken in mind body and spirit but a small spark keeps her trying to fight for survival. Will Kirill figure it all out in time to save her and himself or will the traitor finally win what he’s set up all along. And what happens when it’s all over?
An excellent story and it’s too bad it’s edited so poorly and has so many mistakes that make the story confusing when the plot is written with two different happenings for the same events. Makes no sense at all.

Hated this book
Spoilers in order to leave an honest review
You expect a little dark in a Mafia book but the MMC took a sick scared young woman and put her in a cage long enough that she got hypothermia because of what her father supposedly did. Then he put a collar on her made her walk around naked in high heels with the leash in front of men. That's a deal breaker for me. I can't stand weak mfcs. I think most women would have sat down screen cried kicked done anything but cooperate. There was disgusting talk about women being merchandise and a warm body to pass around. The MFC lost her voice because of the trauma. She stole the pen to start drawing and the MMC told her he would break her fingers if she stole again, lovely. The things that the MMC did were Unforgivable he was also stupid one of his men tricked him into believing that the MFC was a spy. She tried to tell him she wasn't by drawing pictures if she could draw why didn't she just write the explanation down so stupid. The MMC threw her back in to a cage and starved her again. The MFC loved him so she forgave him. I didn't like either of the characters in this book. These kinds of book s leave me feeling icky and angry . I would not recommend it.

Liked the story line. Much different from previous books. Although a lot of it same same! Also yet again conflicting chapters especially the last two. Where in one she drove away leaving the sketch book behind basically telling him she’ll wait for him. Then in the final chapter doesn’t leave and she still has the sketch book. Please read your novel before going to print. It’s rather frustrating and then ruins what is a pretty good story.

What a great Book

If I could give more stars I would, what a fantastic book, it had me from page 1, it had me on the edge of my seat, I couldn’t put the book down, this is the first time I have read this author. It isn’t your normal boring love story, it was action packed, on so many levels, she goes through hell. If you’re looking for the same old love story, don’t read this book, it is so full of twists and turns….i loved it

This one was a bit of a mess. It kept backtracking, describing the same event but slightly different. It didn't feel like an alternate perspective, it felt as though the author forgot we already did this. I don't think I can believe the FMC could fall in love with such a cruel idiot either. 🤷‍♀️
