A pleasant read, low-angst, not too deep, but fun.

Human omega meets hot tattoo guy.... alpha jaguar shifter meets his mate and goes FERAL inside. Joel has no idea shifters exist, even though his roommate is one and his pack has sort of adopted Joel as their own and gotten him into their world with jobs and the roomie sitch. Joel just never clues in even with his "buddies" liking naked runs in the woods and acting protective all the time. Joel's been through a series of shitty boyfriends and is kinda Done at the moment with romance.

North's been waiting for his mate all his life. The quiet, intense tattoo artist creates tattoos based on what he senses about the client...and when Joel's roommate sees what North marked on Joel, he and their friends...react.

Joel's "shifter awakening" is funny and sweet, and a little intense as he realizes this has been under his nose all this time, and was everyone laughing at him?! (not!), and North's inability to be chill now that he's found his mate was a lot of fun. His jaguar keeps taking over and stalking Joel... and North has no experience with any relationship, having waited all this time for his fated (loved that! You know Me.)

There isn't any conflict. Not even with North having waited for his mate and Joel having no idea that was even a Thing. There's a bit of tension from revelations, but nothing stands between them, so it's an easy quick read with lots of satisfying consent (apart from North's jaguar taking over and not listening to North now and then...!) and claiming and heat. Just enjoyable fun, no thinking required.

HEA, fated mates, human omega and jaguar shifter alpha. Tattoo as a mark of claim (and biting!). Mpreg. NO others, no OM action or drama, totally safe for me. Recommended for a brain break.

I really enjoyed this book. As with all fated mates books, the connection between the MC's develops quickly, but the author did an amazing job making it feel natural and realistic, and gave enough time for their bond to feel genuine. There is some mild angst, but overall I found this book to be fun, lighthearted, and entertaining.
Joel is such a sweetheart of a human omega, he works hard at his three jobs, and he enjoys them. His best friend - unbeknownst to him - is a wolf shifter who is sassy and adds so much fun with his sneaky ways of trying to get Joel to figure out that there are shifters in the world.
Noah is an alpha jaguar shifter as well as a tattoo artist with a truly unique gift. I enjoyed the way Noah and his jaguar had their own thoughts and opinions - and boy, did his overprotective jaguar have opinions! Noah gives off the strong, silent, kinda brooding bad boy vibe, but once he meets his fated mate and realizes he is human, he becomes adorably awkward and does whatever he can for the sweet omega who becomes his priority.
These two MC's feel that instant attraction and have an incredible chemistry, and once they get through the bumpy revelation period, everything just comes together perfectly for them - as fate intended lol. This solid connection leads them to genuine love and a sweetly satisfying HEA.
There are a few secondary characters here that are memorable and I feel could be deserving of their own books.
Overall, this book was really enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it.

This book is part of the multi-author Love Sync Ink series. Each book is a standalone read that focuses on a different couple. This is the story of Joel and North. Joel is a human omega who has had no luck with his love life. He is best friends with a wolf shifter Kedi and has no idea the supernatural world even exists. Kedi is trying to drop hints but Joel is not picking them up. When Kedi and his packmates refer to Joel as a member of his pack, Joel is thinking "Rat Pack" not wolf pack. Joel is excited because he is going to get his first tattoo. The tattoo artist North is well respected and exclusive. With his ability to tattoo people with the mark that is their fated mate, North has an extensive waiting list for appointments. North is an alpha jaguar shifter who has been fastidiously waiting for his fated mate. There are three rules for anyone he tattoos. No requests, no speaking, and most importantly, never, ever hit on him. No exceptions. That is until Joel walks in for his appointment. North knows that Joel is his fated mate. His jaguar convinces him to tattoo his paw print to mark his mate. This is their story. The book was just a fun to read as the premise implies. North suddenly had a mate that didn't know about shifters. He also had very limited social skills to call upon as he had to woo Joel like an average human. The book is very well written and easy to read. I very much enjoyed North's inner monologue with his panther. A sweet book that will leave you with a smile.

A bit biased as i absolutely love Trisha as an author and have never been disappointed! What a fun and different take on the fated mates trope. The idea of a tattoo artist alpha who unknowingly marks his mate with ink before either of them fully processes what’s happening is such a clever hook, and it immediately sets the tone for something both magical and intimate.

Joel is wonderfully relatable being overworked, practical, and not remotely expecting fate to knock on his door in a tattoo parlour. His reaction to everything feels grounded, even when the situation isn’t. I loved how steady and kind he is, and how naturally he steps into this new world once the truth comes out. His best friend adds some light humour to the story too, which balances the more emotional moments.

North is a great contrast: broody, reserved, and a little socially awkward despite his confident reputation. I really enjoyed the dynamic between him and his jaguar whose protective instincts and internal commentary added personality and a bit of warmth to his otherwise stoic exterior.

Although the mate bond sparks quickly, the relationship still felt genuine. There’s mild angst and a few bumps along the way, but overall it’s a sweet, slow-burn romance with strong chemistry and a satisfying, heartfelt HEA. Definitely an enjoyable addition to the series.

"He is beautiful. No, no, that’s not enough. He is… stunning, bewitching. Pulchritudinous!”

This is book 5 in the multi-author Love Sync Ink series by Trisha Linde. I'm giving them numbers based on release dates since Amazon doesn't have them numbered. This is the third book in the series I've read and when I saw it pop up on booksprout I had to have it. I love this author so it was basically a no-brainer.

This book is my favorite of the series so far!!! It's also the longest at 229 pages.

A tattoo from North is a special deal and fate has a hand in his designs. He has a set of rules that must be followed or no tat.

Joel, a human, lives with and is best friends with a wolf shifter named Kedi. Joel thinks it's cute they call him part of their pack. I thought this was a funny line from the book. Kedi liked to say that he’d “adopted” me into his “pack”, which was just a funny way of describing his group of friends, kinda like they were trying to rebrand the Rat Pack or something. All of his shifter friends are hoping he'll figure it out on his own or ask questions since only a mate can tell a human about shifters.

Fated mates, shifter/human, a panther waiting on his mate, an oblivious human, the fear of the chase can be exciting, a stubborn panther with a mind of his own, mpreg

This was so good! The sexual tension was off. the. charts!!

This book takes place in an omegaverse world where shifters secretly exist. Joel is an independent human omega, and North is a socially awkward jaguar shifter alpha who works as a tattooist. They meet when Joel goes in for his first tattoo and North realizes they're fated mates. Except Joel has no idea that shifters or fated mates even exist.

The tension between North and his pushy jaguar was really sweet when North would insist on taking things slow with Joel and respecting his human dating conventions. I love to see an alpha treasure his omega.

And when they finally got together, the playfulness between them was so cute! I normally don't go for cheesy cuteness, but this was well-written and not over the top.

The pacing was a bit fast though, especially in the last third of the book. I would have loved to spend more time in moments that strengthened their relationship.

If you like shifter or omegaverse romances with lots of sexual tension, you'll definitely want to read this!

I'm looking forward to checking out more books by this author!

It’s addictive
Joel after another bad break up was going to get a tattoo. He had waited a long time as there was a waiting list for the tattooist. There were strict rules no talking no flirting and no choosing what he puts on your skin. Should be scary, but Joel just felt it was the right thing to do.
Noah enjoys a peaceful life. He is a Jaguar shifter and he has kept himself Pure as he is waiting for his fated mate. As soon as he sees his next customer his whole life changes he’s Jaguar comes alive because he knows that Joel is his mate. And Joel’s tattoo is easy because it is a paw print of his Jaguar.
Sounds easy tell him you’re his mate but Joel is human and doesn’t know anything about shifters. Even though his roommate and friends are all wolf shifters. It also doesn’t help that Noah isn’t used to talking to anyone. He has no idea how to flirt and his jaguar that determined to bite his mate and make him theirs forever. I thoroughly enjoyed this read I went through all emotions there were times I just laughed out loud but what got me was the simplicity of knowing you have found your soulmate. The chemistry that they share is off the charts.
A great read.

ARC Review – Soulbound Ink by Trisha Linde

This book had me from the premise alone, but the execution made it a full five-star obsession.

A human omega walks into a tattoo shop for his first piece and walks out permanently tied to his fated mate. If that isn’t romantic chaos in the best way, I don’t know what is.

Joel is tired. Overworked. A little resigned to the idea that life is something you endure rather than enjoy. He doesn’t expect magic. He certainly doesn’t expect destiny to show up in the form of ink pressed into his skin. Watching him slowly realize that his life might actually be bigger than he thought was incredibly satisfying.

North, the jaguar alpha tattoo artist, absolutely stole the show for me. Controlled. Intense. Deeply protective but operating under strict personal boundaries. The idea that his designs carry something more than just artistry added such a unique layer to the fated mates trope. There’s patience in him, but also instinct. He’s not chasing recklessly, yet when the bond clicks into place, there’s no doubt about it.

I loved the dynamic of shifter and human navigating very different worlds. Joel’s confusion and gradual understanding never felt frustrating, just honest. The tension between instinct and choice, between being hunted and wanting to be wanted, was handled beautifully.

This is a slow-burn MM omegaverse with mpreg elements, primal undertones, and a fated mate bond that feels earned rather than convenient. The pack dynamic adds warmth without overwhelming the central relationship. And when the emotional and physical intimacy finally deepens, it feels intentional and well paced.

Five stars easily. This is one of those books where the concept is fun, but the character work is what really seals it. I’m officially invested in this world and absolutely continuing the series.

North is a jaguar shifter who has the ability to tattoo people with the mark that is their fated mate. Joel walks in and IS North’s fated mate and North doesn’t know what to do. This starts off a fun back and forth between them as North tries to figure out what to do and has problems controlling his jaguar. I really enjoyed how North interacted with his jaguar and how much trouble his animal caused. I don’t think I have ever read a book that has this much of a brat for an animal and it was very funny to watch his jaguar get North in trouble and then him having to figure out how to fix what his jaguar did. I also liked how Joel got into what the jaguar was doing, particularly the stalking. I think this is one of the best things about fated mates stories, that however weird a character is, their fated will match with that weird. I think we all would like the certainty that whatever we are like, our other half would like it and fit into our life like a fated mate would. It’s nice to read this type of story and know that things will work out.

Joel is totally done with men thinking he is boring so he really wants this special tattoo although his best friend is trying to talk him out of it.

North has a special gift with his tattoos and he has a waiting list and rules, like no talking. Joel almost messes up with that rule, but actually this time North doesn't care, because the moment Joel steps into his space he knows. Joel is his mate. Only thing is Joel is human, living and working with shifters, but he doesn't know they are shifters. he gets a really cool tattoo.

How cool North is a panther shifter. I like that. What I don't like is that the panther does take control sometimes, the night-walking is one thing, but the other time at the end of the book? Not cool of him to let North don't come back till the very end. North himself is adorable how he tries to ask Joel out, because he never been on date before, because he was waiting for his mate.

So great to see Joel grow in this book and seeing North giving him space and be himself, although that isn't always easy.

Pretty much from the moment I opened this book, I could tell I was going to enjoy it. The concept of fated mates was explored in sweet way, with Alpha North a jaguar shifter being gifted of visions or sight of how people meet their fated mates which he then tattoos on that person. It was such a lovely 'meet cute' as he was thoroughly shocked when his own fated Joel walked in for a tattoo!
It then follows how North tries to woo his human Omega who despite living with a sassy wolf shifter is oblivious to the shifter world. The chemistry between the main characters was off the charts, and I found myself rooting for them when some major road blocks put a damper on their grand romance. The author did a fabulous job and if cinnamon bun alphas, over protective jaguars and HEAs are your thing you absolutely need to pick this one up!.

"Soulbound Ink", part of the multiauthor Love Syn Ink series, had me at chapter one. Joel is blissfully unaware of the paranormal world, despite the hints his wolf shifter, Kedi, apartment mate drops. When he walks into the Karma Katz tattoo parlor, he's unaware that it's been fate drawing him there.
Noah is an alpha jaguar shifter and hr recognizes Joel as human and his mate. He becomes tongue tied and awkward in front of his mate, much to his jaguar's amusement.
There's a little of resistance and denial. A bit of angst. Joel is none to happy about his bestie roommate not informing him. The inner jaguar conversation is sassy.
This was a lite and sweet read. While there's no groundbreaking, original story here (it pretty much follows other shifter/human stories) it is told in an engaging way. And there are some really good secondaries totally worthy of their own stories.

I absolutely loved this book. Joel was absolutely clueless when it came to the supernatural world, even though his roommate Kedi is a wolf shifter, as are several of his friends. He also worked part-time in a club that is strictly for shifters. North is an eccentric tattoo artist who has set in place rules for anybody he works on: Don't talk to him, don't flirt with him, and he chooses the tattoo he's putting on you. Four hours after Joel walks into the shop, he knows immediately that North is his mate. There were so many spots in this book that had me laughing so hard I was crying. I'm really hoping that there will be a book for Kedi and his mate, as well as Mace and his warlock, because I enjoyed it so much I don't want it to end. I loved both of those characters; they added so much to the story.

"Humans are too breakable. We need to claim and protect him. Now. Before he hurts himself."

This story was sweet with a lot of spice. It has zero angst and the entire plot is the love story. Based on the cover, blurb and first couple of chapters I expected North to be a serious, intense guy but he quickly showed he's just a soft, fluffy marshmallow. I loved how involved his jaguar was, especially when North would sleep-shift and his jaguar took over. I also loved how sweetly naive Joel was about the fact that he was part of a wolf pack and didn't even realize it! Special mention goes to his bff, Kedi, who I found very entertaining.

Since Trisha's books all share the same "world" she usually drops an Easter egg or two and this book is no exception. They always make me smile! Bottom line, this is an easy, quick and amusing read that will make you smile all the way to the last page.

Delightfully hot! Joel, is a sweet human omega who spends his life working and keeping his head down. He lives with his bestie, Kedi who shares his pack with Joel. Joel has no idea of the world of the paranormal. He decides to change his life up and get a tattoo. He meets North, alpha jaguar who is a unique tattoo artist with year long waiting lists. North, has lived his life saving himself until he meets his mate. Their awkward courtship is sweet and delicious. Trisha, gives us another couple that are two amazing men navigating new circumstances. They are funny and sexy and bring us into their lives. This is a story I will reread again. Well done, nice cover art! I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was my first book in this magical ink series and I absolutely loved it. The idea you can find your fated by getting a tattoo was wild and I was all for it. I dont have any tats so I know I would have been just like the MC Joel at first...LOL a little scared but determined. Joel was nervous but was down and once he met North, everything clicked and they were drawn to each other. Their journey was a little rocky so it wasn't all warmth and fuzzies which made it more real. They both worked on the relationship and it became real special. So yeah...first book rocked and I can't wait to read more in this fun and sweet series.

Joel found an apartment to be a roommate with Kedi who was a wolf shifter that got him a part time bartender job at a shifter only bar. Joel thought when the people partially shifted they were what the internet called furries and just shrugged off whatever he saw. Decided to go and get a tattoo he was told to go to North because he did the best, North tattoos whatever he is shown and a jaguar paw print he does on Joel’s back shoulder. When he was done him and Kedi both knew what it meant but Joel didn’t understand why. Some nights his jaguar would walk behind Joel from the bus stop to his home. Took them a bit but things got worked out.

This is my second read in Love Sync Ink series which is part of a multi-author series . I love it. I find it intriguing that a tattoo will help you find your perfect mate. Joel and North are definitely a perfect matc even though Joel is human and North is a jaguar. I love the personality of the jaguar and the chasing he love to do.
This read is fun, sweet and mpreg. The secondary characters are fantastic and I really hope that this will continue next year and we can follow North's brother who just met his mate at the end of the book. This is absolutely worth you time so pick it up and enjoy.

This was pretty cute. North looks like a badass, but is actually really shy and awkward. Joel is friends with a bunch of shifters, but doesn't know it. They meet when North gives him a tattoo and from there we get North being adorable as he tries to get to know Joel. As with pretty much any fated mates story I've read, these two were made for each other and work really well together as a couple. They do a decent job of communicating and the epilogue added an extra bit of satisfaction to the ending. Worth a look if you want to read something fluffy that won't take a long time.

Joel is the sweetest human omega—hard‑working, gentle, and impossible not to love. Noah, the broody jaguar shifter who fate ties him to, is all quiet strength and unexpected softness. I adored how fiercely protective his jaguar side was, and how adorably awkward Noah became once he realized his mate was human. Their chemistry sparks instantly, and watching them navigate the truth, fall deeper, and finally settle into a beautifully destined love was incredibly satisfying. The side characters add charm and promise even more stories worth telling. A romantic, feel‑good shifter read with a truly lovely HEA.

'Soulbound Ink is a slow-burn mm mpreg romance where opposites collide, just as Fate intended. Between them, these two share all kinds of firsts. This alpha jaguar may need to hunt down his mate, and his human omega might just love being chased.'

The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and likeable and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

This book is amazing! North is a panther shifter and tattoo artist who has an incredible ability. Joel will end up getting a tattoo from him after his ex told him he was boring and it will end up changing both their lives! Even though Joel is human, he’s North’s fated mate and their journey will be quite the adventure! I love the things that North’s jaguar will do in the name of protecting and providing for Joel! And I love how their story ends!.

Soulbound Ink is part of the multi author Love Sync Ink series. Each book can be read as a standalone but why not enjoy the whole series. This is the story of Joel a human omega and North an alpha jaguar shifter. This was a wonderful story from start to finish. I loved the characters and the premise of the story. I loved Kedi, Joel's best friend he is a wolf shifter, who is just so fun. There is some angst but it's not bad. I really couldn't put this book down once I started it because I was so enjoying it. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Interesting take on fated mates

Joel is a human who lives with a fabulous wolf shifter and has no idea they exist.
He decides to get a tattoo and it's the best decision ever.
His fated mate, Noah, is capable of visions and is able to tattoo a person to attract their fated mate.
He's absolutely shocked when Joel walks on and he recognizes him as his mate.
This was really sweet and adorable as they navigate a relationship with Joel initially in the dark.
They had some minor obstacles but thankfully they're able to resolve them quickly.

The author writes a very interesting shifter. North's jaguar has its own personality snd quirks. It's his own character.
Joel freaking out the moment he learns about shifters felt very human and realistic.
Their relationship grows fast as usual with fated mates, but North tries to slow things down in order to make Joel more comfortable.
The author gives us some hints about future couples in the epilogue.
A enjoable fast read.

Joel and North story was kind of intense with danger and adrenaline, a couple of secrets and a truth reveal that was quite impactful.
They had their struggles, but in the end love prevailed, and the jaguar was adorable with his protectiveness and need to be included.
I also appreciated the help the got in their time of need, as well as the little snippets of potential future couples that I hope to see more of.
I really liked the story and hope to see more of the characters.

This is a super fun twist on the fated mates trope, with the human omega oblivious to the existence of shifters even though he's accidentally living with a pack. There were a few things told in brief that I wanted on page, but overall this is a very sweet story. I love how North's inner black jaguar was a huge part of it, and how he kept sleep-shifting to bring food for their mate! This was adorable and funny, and I also want books for the side characters.

When I tell you I giggled so much while reading. I 100% mean it. This was just so sweet and flowed so well. It has mpreg, possessive mates, an unapologetic jaguar, and hilarious pregnancy moments. It was all I was hoping it would be. Plus it has chasing (the kinky kind) and consensual stalking (pregaming for the kinky chasing) 🤣🤣

This entire book made happy smile. I adored Joel's cluelessness about his best friend, packs and his new love! North our Jaguar shifter's special tattoos of representing the future were wonderful. The chemistry is so perfect here. Major attraction yet a lot of tenderness and patience. I loved the interactions between north and his jaguar.
