Cal Mercer makes a living catching lies.

He didn’t expect one “simple” job to drag him into London’s most protected circles—where secrets get buried, evidence disappears, and the truth is treated like a threat.

Dominic Rourke is the palace’s ruthless fixer in a tailored suit. He protects royalty, erases dangers, and doesn’t tolerate outsiders poking at the wrong doors. Cal is exactly the kind of man Dom should shut down.

Instead, Dom can’t stop watching him.
Because Cal isn’t just chasing answers—he’s walking straight into a machine built to silence people like him. And the closer he gets, the more the city doors lock, shadows move, and every step feels like a warning.

Now Dom and Cal are forced into an uneasy alliance that blurs every line—between protection and possession, justice and revenge, desire and ruin.

In a world where power rewrites the story, they’ll have to decide what they’re willing to become to make the truth stick.

Ruthless Mercy is a dark MM romantic thriller packed with danger, obsession, and a love that hits like a match in gasoline—because in London, mercy is never free… and survival always has a cost.

Cal, a former crown prosecutor turned private detective, carries the weight of corruption, loss, and betrayal on his shoulders after his partner is assassinated for uncovering the truth. Dom enters his life at a royal wedding, and their connection is instant—two men unknowingly chasing the same enemy, the same tangled web of lies that has shaped both their pasts. As they join forces, the investigation becomes intense and thrilling, each new piece of evidence pulling them deeper into danger. But it’s the growing intimacy between them that truly shines. Their bond builds slowly and beautifully, forged through trust, shared purpose, and the quiet moments where their walls finally come down. The romance is heartfelt, the suspense gripping, and the partnership between Cal and Dom feels both fated and deeply earned. A powerful blend of intrigue and love that leaves you rooting for their justice—and their happily ever after.

What a web of corruption and violence. A crown prosecutor who manipulates court cases, suppressing evidence, witness statements, and forensic reports to achieve predetermined outcomes even if harms innocent people. Cal has become a private detective after his partner was assassinated investigating the corruption. Dom sees Cal at a royal wedding and soon finds himself partnering with him as they seek the same man, the same web of corruption that has affected both of them. A very intense, thrilling story as they accumulate evidence while growing closer on a very intimate level.

Another great read from Greyson. I gobbled this story up very quickly, or at least as quickly as an adult adulting can anyways, haha. The story was very detailed and the plot was very well thought out. I liked how every thing was set up and it didn't feel like I was reading useless jergen. I felt for Cal when he was having a hard time opening up and accepting that maybe he didn't have to do things alone anymore. I am glad he got there though eventually. The chemistry between him and Dom was beautiful. The spice of course was on fire as always. It was nice to see Seb and Vik as well.

I'm truly speechless everything I finish one of Greyson's books and this was no different. I think Dom and Cal my be my favorite couple so far! The action scenes are top tier, the spice is so good. Big scary men being vulnerable even if its with a select few. The story itself though man its something else, intense, action packed and you never know what's going to happen next. I have such a love hate relationship for Adrian. Ugh and the wedding, I love Dom and Viktor’s friendship.

Ruthless Mercy is the kind of book that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. Dom and Cal burned through every page, two damaged men who refuse to break alone when they could bleed together. The tension is electric, the intimacy is devastating, and the way Greyson makes you feel every victory and every loss is Unforgettable. Dark, explicit, and achingly romantic. If you want a love story that fights for its happy ending, this is it. 🖤

Wow, even better than the last one. 😍

Finally Dom's book! The relationship they develop is heavy and really amazing to witness.
I loved Dom in the first books he appeared and fell for him even more in this one. And the the feisty Cal, just such a good read!

It is not as dark as the last books, but this one makes up for it with intense scenes and a whole new scenario. Loved it! ❤️

Easily on the top of his books that I’ve read so far.

Great story. There is a lot of fighting for Cal and Dom to be together but that makes it sweeter in the end.

Justice is served messy in this one.
