6 stars. I would give this 10 stars if I could. For one the dedication, this author is made of gold. There is nothing that I can say that will explain the warm tenderness that is in my chest right now.
Not only does Crystal Rose have the ability to write characters like Amon that will have you giggling, swinging your feet, twirling your hair etc but she also has the ability to write very realistic emotions that are hard to deal with represented in Olivia .
Not only in this do you have great communication, understanding of boundaries, consent but also I love how she portrays self-sabotaging behaviors that we may have as people and a way to process them.
I Love this book as I've loved the rest of her catalog and I will continue to support her catalog for as long as she's publishing. You could never tell me to not buy a book from her because I love her to pieces. She is one of the authors we SHOULD be platforming because THIS is what I want to see in my local store and library.
She writes the love we want and while it is fiction, forever uses her platform to remind those who listen what is right and wrong. BUY THIS BOOK.

I finished this book in two days. It is definitely a fast and easy read, and there is no doubt about that. However, I have to admit that I felt bored while reading it. I usually enjoy sci-fi and alien romance books, and I read them quite often, but this one did not really work for me.
The story starts very quickly and maybe that is part of the problem. I could not get used to the characters, and honestly, I did not connect with them or grow to like them. I kept reading but I never felt fully invested. Unfortunately, I did not get the story I was hoping for from this book.
That said, readers who are looking for a fast-paced alien romance and do not need deep character development might enjoy this one more than I did.
