Read trigger warnings before reading this lil novella because my god it goes deep and triggering with a sensitive topic. I wasn’t prepared for the depth and trauma packed in this novella but it was done well with care. A lesbian fake dating an escort. I adored Bree and Ayla they was so beautiful together. The way they cared for eachother so deeply it felt very connected even though a lil fast and insta lovey it was done well and it felt believable, you feel the chemistry between them and the way Ayla protected her and came through for her and stood up for her 👏👏 the spice was so so hot but also intimate and charged with passion. It just got a lil sluggish in parts because I found the author being too much in the POvs head and not so much outside of it. It felt a little too much asking repeated questions in the povs head and it was less showing us what’s happening more just their own thoughts in their head which got abit annoying when I wanted on page actions not just in their own heads. So that brought the rating down for me.

I loved this book real feelings and truths about the workplace. Bree is caught in a men's world and I loved that she took a big leap, she was so sweet. Ayla follows the rules and is very confident in herself but those rules could change everything she thought, felt with so much feelings.
So well written you just fall in love and cheer these two on. It was so perfect.

This was such a wonderful little story. It's short but it's packed with all the emotions. It takes a good author writing FF to make it enjoyable for me and Ms. Knight did just that. Ayla and Bree are so sweet together. There are triggers so read the warnings listed and then start reading! There are several other characters that I would love to see get stories!!!

My first read from this author and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed it. Even though it’s a short story it felt like we got to learn a lot about the characters without it feeling rushed. Will definitely be reading another one from this author!!

I didn't want it to be over! Amazing read. Such a great dynamic to grab you and hold fast. You won't regret picking it up because you won't want to put it down or be over!
