This is a very good romantic suspense. Fiona is a sculptor who makes a certain kind of ink that is similar to what is used on money. Her ex betrayed her by working with a counterfeiter using her ink. He also had plates to print the money with. When the counterfeiter, Bellucci kills her ex and her gallery manager, Fiona discovers the bodies. Bryce, an FBI agent arrives just in time to rescue her from the killers. This is a fast-paced thriller where Bryce is trying to keep Fiona safe. However, it becomes much harder than he thought as they are relentless in their pursuit.
Author Terri Reed takes readers to Bozeman, Montana where Fiona Halverson has just discovered that her business partner and ex-fiance, Jason Van Rhyn has emptied out the art gallery’s bank accounts and disappeared.
Reed gives us a pacey story; part mystery and part romance. The adrenaline rush from the fight for survival scenes and the hope that FBI Special Agent Bryce Springs would bring closure for Fiona, kept me flipping pages.
This engaging, faith anchored story held my attention from cover to cover.
