J.D. Torres is an author, consciousness awareness coach, and literary architect of paradox. His works do not just ask questions—they become them.

His debut book, The True Adventure: Finding the Frequency of Authenticity, is a transformational guide, inviting readers to step into their most authentic selves and uncover the hidden frequencies of personal truth. It is a journey toward presence, depth, and self-discovery.

His second book, The Nothing Paradox, is the opposite—a deliberate void, a work that exists without purpose yet demands interpretation. Written in seven days, it does not seek understanding but instead forces the reader to confront their own perceptions, challenging the very notion of meaning itself.

Torres does not write to be understood; he writes to unravel understanding itself. Whether guiding readers toward self-awareness or stripping away their illusions, his works leave an imprint long after the last page, making them question if they ever truly left at all.

This is not my normal type of book but with so many friends reading it I had to see what all the rave was about and was not disappointed. This book kept me up at night with my mind racing. J.D. writes such a good thriller that reminded me so much of a cross between Freddy Krueger and the Matrix lol. There are Multi Universes but no matter what you do DO NOT LET HIM IN!! That saying will haunt me forever!! Definitely would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!!

Wild Ride

JD wrote an epic adventure with the Godfall Requiem. This was a literary masterpiece of the best kind. What if you were the last of yourself in all the multiverses. Then you are tasked to save all mankind. This is a wild ride and written in a way that keeps you engaged as a reader and ready to see what trials lies next.

The Godfall Requiem is a book written by an incredible author. Aside from this, he is an even better human. This book was one you will want to read quickly because you will not want to put it down. I urge you to take your time to appreciate every word on the page. J.D. writes in detail; his characters have depth, and you will be on a journey you do not want to end. J.D. takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, and be sure to follow his work to come!

When I say this book had me yelling at the author I’m not bluffing.

This book will make you think, make you feel, and make you question some things. J.D. Torres has an amazing way of engulfing you into the book in way you don’t know what will truly happen next. It is a rollercoaster of emotions involving normal ‘nobodies,’ Gods, and multiple universes with all the suspense, a little bit of romance, and a whole lot of questioning to say the least. I took a chance on this book and I have no regrets. I highly recommend!

This book is a crazy roller coaster of emotions. I have never read something so intense and beautiful. You will be taken through different portals to different worlds. You will meet evil, and gods. This story will captivate you in a way you never knew possible. I am beyond excited to read more From J.D. Torres.

Read on KU. Didn't know exactly what to expect in the beginning. All I knew from pg 1 was it was about to be a total mind f***. This is EXACTLY what I look for when reading an indie author book. The creativity, emotion, and connection to the reader and themselves. This book is truly a masterpiece. The characters are so complex and multi-layered. You think the bad guy is the one to fear, but you never see it coming. I would love to have a book 2 to this still. Even though it ends beautifully and completely, I think a different pov perhaps would be amazing. Definitely a must read.

you need to drop whatever you're reading right now and pick up The Godfall Requiem. I went into this expecting a fun, high-stakes fantasy about gods getting wiped out, but JD Torres completely blew my mind—it feels less like a regular novel and more like a massive, mind-bending puzzle that bleeds right off the page. The whole concept of "recursion code" and the way different ancient mythologies like Olympus and Norse lore collide is just brilliant. It has this incredibly eerie, immersive atmosphere that makes you feel like you're uncovering a dangerous secret rather than just reading a story. It's fast, incredibly clever, and genuinely creepy in the best way possible; I'm completely hooked and already want to reread

The Godfall Requiem by J. D. Torres was aware of me as much as I was of it.
The world building is absolutely wild! Collapsed civilizations, dead gods, and this constant sense that everything is breaking beyond repair.
Honestly, I loved every moment of this book. It’s dark, unpredictable, and completely consuming. If you want something that feels different, something that sticks with you, this is absolutely an amazing read.
