This is a thorough guide, complete with quotes on the First Amendment, relevant court cases, bibliographies with other sources and more, though I wish it had touched upon relying on your faculty to guide students more and ways that that could be implemented. I also think it drew very heavily from the FIRE guide which I recently read, relying on similar points and sources. Still, it was interesting as were the cases it guided administrators through, touching on many frequent dilemmas and questions that students might have. The way it advises administrators to address media (quickly and with openness) was also really great. The guide also takes the time to helpfully define each term, making it accessible to people unfamiliar with First Amendment debates, and includes advice for both private and public colleges — an important addition as private universities have less rules to comply with but the same issues with student bodies and the public. This ended up being a valuable resource and one I would recommend to anybody involved in a university's decision-making process.
