Stolen Honor is the eighth book in SEAL Team Blackout Charlie. Delivers a potent blend of high-stakes action and deeply resonant emotional conflict. The author delivers an intense and emotionally charged narrative while masterfully weaves high-stakes espionage with a deeply personal journey of trust, vulnerability, and love.

The author skillfully blends intrigue with deep personal connection, crafting a compelling relationship between Navy SEAL Angelo Ash and the enigmatic Ellory Carmichael. Angelo Ash is a man who values control and is haunted by past failures. He is withdrawn, focused solely on capturing an elusive terrorist. He sees Ellory Carmichael, a quiet yet strong accountant, as an unwanted complication and a distraction he can't afford. Ellory is actually a math genius known as “The Accountant”. She can unravel even the most complex financial trails and is driven by a personal quest to find her missing brother and dismantle the criminal network. Angelo is a protector at heart, relying on his physical skills, while Ellory brings a strategic mindset. As they find themselves together in a safe house, a deeper connection begins to grow, allowing them to evolve from professional colleagues into “lonely outsiders” who find comfort and understanding in each other. Their shared commitment to the mission builds a foundation of mutual respect and growing affection. The relationship between Ash and Ellory is the emotional core that drives Ash’s personal journey. Ellory’s quiet strength and steadfast resolve gradually break down Ash’s emotional walls. The stolen moments and kisses reveal that Ellory becomes more than just a partner in crime—she becomes the one person whose safety matters more than anything else, even the mission itself. The constant interplay between heart-pounding action and emotional romance ensures that neither aspect overshadows the other. Ellory’s unwavering support and Ash’s protective instincts blend into a powerful bond that feels both earned and inevitable. That's why Stolen Honor is the perfect conclusion to this series, showing how two very different people, brought together by a common goal and personal stakes, can break down not only a criminal empire but also the emotional barriers they have built—transforming their relationship from professional necessity into deep love.

***************************************
(With skillful hand, the author weaves,
Intrigue and heart, as soul perceives.
Ash, Navy SEAL, strong and bold,
With Carmichael, a story to unfold.

Control he seeks, by failures chased,
To catch a foe, his mind is based.
Ellory appears, a quiet might,
An unwanted twist, obscuring his sight.

But she, "Accountant," a math whiz bright,
Unravels trails, with all her light.
For missing kin, her purpose clear,
A criminal web, she aims to tear.

In safe house bound, their paths align,
From colleagues cold, to hearts that twine.
Lonely no more, in depths they see,
Comfort and love, for you and me.

Respect they earn, as feelings bloom,
Her gentle strength dispels his gloom.
Each kiss, each touch, begins to say,
Her safety matters more than the day.

In action's heat, romance takes flight,
A balanced dance, of dark and light.
Support unwavering, instinct to keep,
A bond so strong, and oh so deep.

"Stolen Honor", the perfect end,
Two souls entwined, on fate depend.
They break the walls, that held them tight,
And find in love, their guiding light.)

It's been an incredible ride, but finally the conclusion to the SEAL Team Blackout Charlie Series is here! Bringing the terrorist Cipher to his knees is their main objective. One by one, the men of Blackout Charlie have met their matches and fallen deeply in love. Now it's Angelo Ash's turn to fall deep.

Navy SEAL Angelo Ash is the newest member of Blackout Charlie. Originally the Blackout recruiter, he quickly assigned himself to Charlie when they found themselves down a man. Although part of a tight knit team, he always carried himself slightly away from the team. His past holds tragedy, of which the origin he places squarely on his own shoulders. Keeping himself at a distance will allow the past never to repeat itself.

Ellory Carmichael is The Accountant,  trained to follow money trails without leaving a trace. She's not only brilliant, but beautiful. For years she's been tracing terrorist Cipher's activity through his financial footprint. When an explosion at a bank has her helping multiple authority organizations,  she comes face to face with Angelo. Her unique skills will benefit Blackout Charlie and their tracking of Cipher nicely, so she's recruited back to their base.

Working together, they draw the net around Cipher  tighter and tighter.  They all can feel it-- the end is near, but at what price? Will everyone make it out alive, or will Cipher have one more victory in the form of loss of life? When a killer is desperate,  he has nothing to lose.

Truly the perfect ending to this series. It was all that I was hoping for in a conclusion and more.

I'm already looking forward to being introduced to  SEAL Team Blackout Sierra, as well as reading Archer's story one day-- either while at the Black Heart Ranch, or as a member of one of Em Petrova's Blackout Teams. Keep 'em coming, Em! As quickly as you're able to write them, I'll be devouring your words. :)

A thrilling end to this amazing series by one of my favorite authors. Strong and caring heroes and the resilient women who work with them to find a vicious killer! Former Navy Seal Angelo Ash is still blending in with SEAL Team Blackout Charlie. The team, led by Constantine, have finally narrowed down their search for Cipher. Cipher has committed heinous crimes to seek revenge on behalf of his mother who was killed. Just as they believe they have him, he escapes. Now they may have an advantage when Ellory Carmichael aka “The Accountant” joins them. She has a unique ability to see what others miss in Cipher’s financials and once seen, she never forgets. The attraction between Ash and Ellory is hot and immediate, but she needs to also concentrate on a personal reason she has for assisting the team. As she spends hours at her computer, she finds details that will involve the teams’ ability to shut down and arrest various members of Cipher’s gang. Every time they believe they will finally find and arrest Cipher, he escapes. With the team on their way to check out what should be a final showdown, Ellory locates a new target area. The team have already left and are in silent mode…how can she let them know? She’ll have to come up with a way and protect herself at the same time. If things go well, will she find the man she has been searching for? I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (paytonpuppy)

5++ Stars: Sooo much action & love
Navy SEAL Angelo Ash feels he let his last SEAL team down, causing a death within his team. It wasn’t his fault, but Ash has been withdrawn ever since. New to SEAL Team Blackout Charlie, Ash works with the team in training and on missions but withdraws at all other times until he meets The Accountant. Ellory Carmichael is a mathematical genius called by all, The Accountant. She works with all the alphabet agencies, following the money trail of criminals and terrorists, helping dismantle their organizations. She has been tracking Cipher, the horrific terrorist responsible for thousands of lost lives. For Ellory, this is also a personal mission. Her brother Archer is undercover, trying to get close to Cipher to take him down, but 13 months ago, communication was lost. Ellory is working night and day to track Cipher and find her brother.
I love the friendship that develops between Ash and Ellory, two lonely outsiders. Living within the safe house, surrounded by the SEAL team and the women in their lives, Ash and Ellory are drawn into friendships. They connect as a couple but also open their hearts to the team. I loved getting to know the smart, strong, and dedicated characters in this series. I received a free ARC copy of this story from Booksprout, and these are my thoughts. Linda

Fantastic Conclusion

Stolen Honor is the eighth and final book in this exceptional series, SEAL Team Blackout Charlie. The story is a mix of action, adventure, suspense, danger, some sizzling passion. It also continues the overarching story-line of the SEAL team against Cipher that runs though the series. This book centers on Ellory Carmichael and Angelo Ash. She is known as "The Accountant" and specializes in taking a deep dive into forensic money trails through the web and he is the big, muscular and intense SEAL assigned to guard her and the newest team member. Ellory has been tracking and tracing Cipher so she quickly becomes a valuable addition to the team when Angelo brings her back to the operation. But he also finds that she is a lot more as she does with him. These two have been focused and locked down for so long it takes more than a little chemistry sparking between them to finally get them to really explode.
I really enjoyed this latest book in the series. It has a well balanced story-line and very likeable characters.

Ash's focus is absolute. Ellory comes to review the scene, and he can't keep his focus off her. It's both business and personal. She's used to being at scenes like this, interacting with various agencies. Ash finds her composure a bit unsettling. She's focused on finding a dangerous criminal, as well as finding her brother who went undercover and hasn't been heard from in over a year. Ash has kept to himself to protect himself from further loss, but she's slipping under his armour, and he starts to realise that family makes you stronger. Ellory finds herself becoming a part of this family. She's been alone for a long time. They're good together, finding in each other what they've been missing. Even when they're all at the compound trying to find links to the mastermind, it's 'brainfull' nonstop action, with intense family time in between. Work and family prioritised and working in all ways.

Ash is investigating the bombing of bank safe deposit boxes suspected to be the work of Cipher. Ellory Carmichael is tracing the money trail. She is transported by Ash to the team's headquarters where her expertise is needed. Ash and Ellory don't hit it off at first, but after he kills someone who was going to kill Ellory, they become close.
Ash and Ellory work together along with the rest of the team to trace Cipher. Ellory goes off on her own to the suspected hideout of Cipher. She finds her brother Asher who was undercover. He has been incommunicado for 13 months. They managed to get out of their restraints and are rescued by the team.
There is a HEA ending to this story.
The plot was complex with surprises, and twists. The heat between Ash and Ellory is off the charts.
I look forward to the next chapter in the Blackout series.

Angelo Ash is the newest member of Blackout Charlie and while he has his team’s six, he keeps himself closed off while not on a mission. He meets Ellory Carmichael, known as the Accountant, at a bomb site and is instructed by his CO, Con to bring her to the base. Ellory has been tracking Cipher as well and has valuable information to assist the team. Both Ellory and Angelo have walls up that prevent them getting close to others, both also have a secret that they eventually trust each other with. To see both Angelo and Ellory learn to love and trust again, not only each other, but the whole team, was heartwarming. There is plenty of steam, laughs (especially when Ellory tries to find flaws with Ash so not to be attracted to him), found family, and real family, finally found. This series is best read in order, however there is enough background information, to be read as stand alone.

If you’re a fan of the Blackout Charlie series, you’ve been waiting for Angelo’s story—and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. Angelo Ash is exactly the kind of hero I love: elite in the field, fiercely loyal to his team, but carrying that "emotional stone wall" vibe that makes his eventual softening so much more satisfying.

Then there’s Ellory Carmichael. I loved that she wasn't just a damsel in distress; as the team’s "Accountant," she is sharp, guarded, and handles the books (and the bullets) with total precision. The "reluctant partnership" trope is executed perfectly here. Their banter is top-tier—Ellory’s dry wit vs. Angelo’s stoicism—and the tension between them builds beautifully as they hunt down Cipher.

All in all a great way to end this series and I am looking forward to another Blackout Team

As much as i loved this book, I loved Angelo and Ellory as much. This was fast paced and a brilliant feel good ending.

Accountant Ellory is taken to Blackout by Angelo Ash to help track down the terrorist, Cipher.

I've really enjoyed the current running through this series to get to Cipher. But this was really great as it was a different perspective though Ellory's role.

But the attraction between these two was ultra passionate and protective. I liked the fact they focused on the feelings the ones left behind had to deal with.

So well done. Fantastic characters and a plot that kept me waiting and guessing. So good!!.

Oh My Goodness Cipher was about to meet his final showdown with Blackout Charlie and The Accountant, as they were hot on his trail. The Accountant, Ellery Carmichael joined Blackout Charlie, since she had ways to follow his money. Angelo Ash the newest team member and the only single one too was in charge of bringing her to base. From the very beginning, they experienced a certain chemistry that drew them together. They tried to deny the attraction, but it was undeniable. There was plenty of suspense along the way with a surprise thrown in here and there just to keep things super interesting. I highly recommend this book.

The hunt for Cipher is nearing the end and there is still time for secrets to be exposed, book 8, the last from this series, has strong characters, good teamwork, good connections and plenty of chemistry. Ellory was such a good character, she was unique and a woman of many layers, I enjoyed seeing her and Ash meet, size each other up, give into their attraction, and start to build something between them. I also enjoyed finding out more about Ash, seeing the change his character went through and seeing them be open and honest with each other. The hunt, the danger, the investigation, the together times and how well everyone worked together kept me interested from start to finish.

Em Petrova made me cry ! Ash and Ellory‘s story was one of the best in SEAL Team Blackout Charlie Series. The Account went through so much to find her brother and almost lost everything. Ash was a walking dead from a memory and hurt he couldn’t put down. Team Blackout Charlie did what they do best and made them both family. And the tie in to Em Petrova’s other series Blackheart Security that made it even better. When an author ties series together it’s like coming home to me. 5✨’s for a book and end to a series with so much heat and heart.

Stolen Honor is the 8th and final story in the SEAL Team Blackout Charlie series, best read in order for the ongoing suspense plot that comes to a satisfying conclusion. Ash and Ellory's story adds the final mile in the team's race to stop a terrorist so there's a constant back-and-forth between heart-racing action and the emotional yet also spicy romance brewing between the two of them. The happy ending is sweet and sentimental, a worthy finish to this great series. Fortunately, we get to start on another journey with a new Blackout team soon! Ellory Carmichael showed up at Cipher bomb site after all the Alphabet Guys from FBI, DHF, DEA and more showed up, and just after Angelo Ash of Blackout Team Charlie...she was The Accountant who forensically took out criminals by tracing their monies...he confirmed was Cipher and SEAL Team Blackout Charlie had the case...looked like Cipher was cleaning house and possibly consolidating his resources...and Ellory was the one to prove it...but was that her only concern??? You will need to read this thriller to see if this is the end of Cipher....I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Angelo Ash, the newest addition to Blackout Charlie - a man loyal in the field but emotionally distant beyond it. When he crosses paths with Ellory Carmichael, the team’s sharp and guarded “Accountant,” their reluctant partnership soon reveals shared scars and hidden truths. As they’re drawn into the hunt for Cipher, the story balances high-stakes action with emotional depth, charting a slow, tender journey of trust and connection. With heat, humor, and the warmth of found family, this romance delivers both heart and adrenaline.

This is the last book in the Team Blackout Charlie series. This is the story of Ash and Ellory. Ash is the newest addition to the team but not new to what they do. He used to be a recruiter for them but when he saw a vacancy he decided he was ready to take the job. Ellroy is known as "The Accountant" that meets Ash in the aftermath of an explosion at a bank.

Out of all the stories in this series, I feel this is the best book but they are all great books. One of the things I particularly enjoyed about this book was when the author tied some of her other series into this book.

Bye, Bye SEAL Team Blackout Charlie! 😢

Oh what a series this has been! Em Petrova has woven quite the tales of the SEALTeam Blackout Charlie members. Each of the characters are strong and human. The devotion these men & women demonstrate to keep our country safe make them all unsung heroes.

That said, I am sorry that this was the end of the Blackout Charlie series. I have enjoyed every tale & appreciated that the finale did not disappoint.

Another bonus was how the author incorporated members from the Blackheart Security Series in the hunt for Cipher! Nicely done!

Loved Ash & Ellory

Some run towards trouble, others just are Trouble. A fast paced black ops tale. A team of invisible SEALS chasing terrorists. A woman brought into their group because of her ability to see through complex sets of numbers and have them solve a puzzle. There are secrets to live with or maybe die holding. Perhaps the secrets will get someone killed for keeping it. The suspense and mystery of the storyline is captivating. The attraction and connection is racy and intense. The chase is on and this is a difficult book to put down with an entire cast of characters in the hunt with their safety and their lives on the line..

Ash and Ellory story was great. The book started out fast paced and continued that way. Ellory is The Accountant and Ash is taking her to the base so she can help track down Cipher. As we learn more about her, we find out that her brother has been missing having gone undercover to find Cipher. With Ellory and the Blackout Charlie team they may find her brother and get rid of Cipher. Ash and Ellory connect in so many ways. Great chemistry, action and seeing everything going on with the team. What a great way to end the series.

Angelo Ash is a member of Blackout Charlie’s special ops team. The team has been looking for Cipher, a terrorist, for years and they are really close now. The Accountant, Ellory Carmichael, has been working to find Cipher or Daniel Sheen, who has her brother Archer. Ellory hasn’t heard from her brother in thirteen months and she is really worried. Together along with Angelo’s teammates they will work on n finding both Cipher and Archer. This is a great book!.

Stolen Honor wraps up a long game of cat and mouse, with the intensity heightening as the end draws close.
Ash and Ellory simmer in a slow burn, their attraction and secrets intertwining as they chase the final missing piece. The constant tug of war between heart and mission keeps everything on edge.
The team brings strong camaraderie and a bond beyond blood, while the women stand out as pillars of strength.
At its core, love is what unites it all, making this a satisfying and emotional conclusion.

Angelo Ash is part of Blackout Charlie, dead to the world but a close knit community with their brothers and partners. Ash keeps himself closed off, his emotions shut down after a tragic loss.
Ellory is know as The Accountant, an expert in financial trails. She works with them as they have a common enemy.
The attraction between two helped Ash to loosen up and be part of the group outside of the mission.

I really enjoyed watching this team, their banter and professionalism.

Great action packed story and the culmination of this series. I can't wait to see what's next from this author.

It's been awhile but the team is finally closing in on Cipher. The hope is to get to him before he destroys all the information that would help to convict him of his crimes.

In the meantime, Ellory (The Accountant) is brought in to help follow Cipher's money and it isn't long before an attraction sparks between her and Angelo. But Ellory has a secret that she's hoping doesn't result in her being removed from the team if it comes out.

There's plenty of action, hot chemistry and a few twists as this series winds down.

Ellory meets Ash when she shows up at a bank where safety deposit boxes have been blown out. She is then taken to Blackout Charlies’ secret base. To Ash’s surprise she knows one of the women who live there as she is The Accountant who use numbers to bring down criminals.
This is a fast paced romance that unfortunately is the end of this series. Ash and Ellory finally make a great couple as they help solve the overall mystery arc in this series. A fantastic book!.

Ellory steps into the team with her mad math skills as the accountant and does the thing the team hasn’t been able, bringing them closer to taking down Cipher. But she’s well known among his organization so will she survive the confrontation? She and Ash steam up the sheets but will he let her in after agonizing over a choice in his previous life that went wrong? There was plenty of suspense and steamy moments in this conclusion to the series. It was great to catch up with the rest of Ash’s team and their growing families.

Stolen Honor is book 8 in the SEAL Team Blackout Charlie series by Em Petrova, and is the final book in this series.

Ash and Blackout Charlie team members are determined to bring down Cipher permanently and while Ash is sent to a bombing to get more information he meets the “Accountant“ Ellory and takes her back to home base. With her help, they are one step closer to getting Cipher…suspense, danger, finding her brother, steamy, learning to trust again, found family and so much more…

This was a great action packed story with danger and chaos. It was absolutely amazing to be pulled into this dangerous world with Ash and Ellory. The two of them teaming up up to take down Cipher had me on the edge of my seat. I was totally invested in this story. Loved the two of them on an intimate level also. Their steaminess was great without overtaking the story. This is a definite must read.
