It was interesting to see people's first impressions of Joseph Smith. Obviously all people in this book were members as I would assume those who weren't would have said differently. There was a common theme. He was witty, sincere, friendly and most importantly they saw a Godly power about him. This really does paint a picture of a character of a person to people who have never met him.
